As mihika slept soundly in his arms a feeling of relief took over him he placed a soft kiss on her forehead

The next few days passed smoothly as they returned back to malhotra mansion

"what are you up to this early in the morning?" she said as she opened her eyes and saw him staring at her

"Nothing much just admiring my wife" he said placing a soft kiss on her forehead

she smiled and wrapped her arm around him snuggling into him

"getting cuddled up are we?" he said smiling running his fingers through her hairs

"I have to go to dad's office today" she mumbled in her sleepy voice

"so you are joining back?" he asked while looking at her

"uhmhmm" she hummed

"i will drop you at the office then" he said placing her hairs behind her ears to get a better look at her face

"it's literally the opposite way from yours" she said looking at him

"so?" he asked raising an eyebrow

"why would you do that?" she asked looking at him frowning

"because i want to biwi" he said kissing her cheek lightly making her chuckle as her cheeks turned red

"you are too umm..cute sometimes" she said shyly kissing his nose and smiling at him making his ears go red and his heartbeat fasten

"umm..i.i will go get ready" he said getting up and disappearing into the bathroom

soon they descended downstairs bidding bye to everyone as they left for the office in his aston martin

as they settled themselves in his car her being his passenger princess

"are we waiting for someone?" she asked as he didn't start to drive

"no just wait a second" he said as he leaned towards her making her heart flutter with his proximity he tilted his face towards her looking into her eyes as they captivated him making her cheeks flush and breath hitched

"aapke irade aaj kuch thik ni lag rhe" she said biting her lower lip

gaining his composure a little he got out of his daze realising what he was about to do

"what? i am just fixing the seatbelt biwi" he said playing all innocent as he made her wear the seatbelt and getting back at his place he looked at her with a sly smirk

she raised an eyebrow looking at him with a questioning gaze

"vaise aap jo soch ri thi vo bhi kiya ja sakta hai" he said teasing her a little more

she looked away feeling embarassed her cheeks turning pink he smiled looking at her flushed face and decided to not tease her anymore

soon they reached the pearl (mathur's company) he got out of the car opening the door for her she passed a smile

"i'll come to pick you up in the evening" he said kissing her forehead

"just send the driver na" she said looking at him

"seems like you don't want your husband to spend time with you" he said in a deep voice grazing her jawline with his fingers
