VEDANT

My sleep was long gone when i heard the sound of anklets jingling in my room when i looked at the person wearing them my breath got hitched

It was her

She looked breathtakingly gorgeous in a red saree , her hair reached till her waist which were adorned with a gajra her back was facing me and i couldn't help but admire how effortlessly beautiful she looked

she turned and i quickly shut my eyes and pretended to sleep

i could hear the sound of her anklets indicating she was coming towards me

"Sunein" she said in a low voice while tapping on my shoulder lightly

Her voice was melodious i could listen to it every day, every hour,every minute!

"Wake up Mr.Malhotra we are late dadi will scold us" She said softly but in commanding tone

oh how much i loved her calling me that

I opened my eyes and her flawlessly beautiful face came in my view

She had applied kajal in her honey brown eyes which made them more
captivating

I couldn't help and stared at her face taking in her gorgeous features

i came out of my dream land when she said

"Are you there?" while waving her hand in front of my face

"Yeah" i replied rubbing my eye

"Go get ready everyone must be waiting" she said fixing her saree

I obeyed her and quickly went to take a shower

MIHIKA

He went to take a shower and i quickly looked at myself in the mirror to complete the look i wore a minimal choker necklace along with earrings matching to it which complimented my red saree when i realised i haven't worn my Mangalsutra(nuptial chain)

i quickly wore the nuptial chain and filled the partition of my hair with vermilion and placed a small bindi on my forehead i did minimal makeup and fixed my hair one last time

Then i heard the sound of the bathroom's door unlocking and he came out

It took me a second to realise he came out JUST IN A TOWEL covered around his waist his well toned chest was on display water dripping from his wet hairs making him look hot!

He was wiping his hair with a towel without realising i was here

The realisation hit me HE WAS STANDING ALMOST NAKED IN FRONT OF ME it was late to do anything as he looked up at me and his eyes widened

And i quickly turned, now my back was facing him i face plamed myself and my cheeks turn red

i was cursing myself under my breath

"What are you doing here?" He said being startled

"I- nothing i am sorry i will just leave" i said and rushed out of the room while closing the door

i mentally hit myself

When i reached mid of the stairs i heard ruhi calling me i turned back and looked at her

"OMG! You look so beautiful bhabhi ved bhaiya toh gye kaam se" she said in a teasing tone

And suddenly i got flashbacks of what just happened in the room and my cheeks automatically turned pink
