Alice 🥁
Did you ever talk to your brother about hypothetically potentially teaching me how to drum
You
oh!
i forgor.
hold on
You looked up from your phone and called out into the kitchen, "Joe!"
You heard him bump against something before cursing, then responding, "What do you need?" Unbeknownst to you, he was sticking his head in the fridge and secretly drinking your milk. You would've lost your mind if you saw him drinking milk by itself, so he tried to keep it under wraps. He hit his head on the fridge while trying to hide the fact he was a milk drinker.
"Do you think you could teach Alice how to drum?"
"Teach Alice how to drum?" He repeated. "I thought you were doing that."
"I've hit a wall. I only know so much about drumming. I thought you might be able to push him a bit further in his development."
Joe rolled his eyes. Not because he was annoyed, but because he couldn't drink milk at that moment. "Yeah, sure. Send him over."
"Oh, we were actually wanting to practice at the studio. So, since you're apparently so chill with doing it right now, let's head on over. Grab your coat and phone." You said, standing up from the couch and walking to your bedroom to grab the things you needed.
Joe sighed. No more milk for him.

"What do you have so far?" Joe asked Alice, who sat in front of his drums nervously. You stood nearby with your guitar in your arms, ready to accompany Alice.
"Do you know 'F-Top'?" Alice asked, and Joe narrowed his eyes at him in confusion.
"Familiar Taste of Poison." You clarified, and Joe looked at you, still confused, "You don't." You told him, "You only know one of the songs so far. This isn't that one."
"...Okay... well, go ahead." Joe said.
"I'll start you, Alice." You said, then started in the middle of the song, because that's when the drums were introduced.
Alice was able to keep up, but this song was fairly simple when it came to drums. And it was slower than most of the songs Reko had written out.
You sang the song quietly so Joe was better able to understand how well he was keeping up, and when the two of you finished, you stared at Joe for what he had to say next, but Alice stared at you.
"Now, I'm no expert," Joe said, "But you sound like you're doing completely fine. I don't know why you think you need help. Can we go home now?"
"No," You and Alice responded simultaneously.
"Not all the songs are as slow as F-Top." Alice said with a sigh. "I don't know. What else could we practice?" Alice asked you, and you stared at him for a few seconds as you ran through the songs you'd practiced enough to recite in your head.
"...Dirty Mind?"
Alice gasped, "That song is... far too inappropriate!!"
"Then I won't sing it," You said, trying to hide the slight smile creeping onto your lips. "But we can perform it still. It's faster."
