Chapter 3 - 17-year-old Impersonates Police, What Happens Next Is Shocking!

It was the day I became 17, I had nobody to talk to, or to look forward to seeing. So I bought a birthday cake, and before I could eat my cake, in a sad way, my phone rang. "Hello?" I asked, before hearing a familiar voice telling me 'happy birthday.' It was Jade! She knew my birthday, so she decided to hire me today, because it was my birthday!
"How's the birthday boy doing?" She asked happily, before I responded that I was "doing well". I imagined her smiling behind the phone. "You're 17 now, right?" She asked, sounding excited for something. "Yeah, I am. What about it?" I asked back before telling me I had a job, but first, needed to go to their base. She sent me the coordinates and told me how happy she is to be seeing me. So I scarfed down my cake, dressed up in this one suit I stole, and went there. It was a warehouse, half an hour away from here, so I got on my HoverBoard (yes, it hovers and goes at a max speed of 300 km/h) and set sails. It took me 15 minutes, due to me speeding so fast I think I even ran someone over with it! I got there, and did the secret code. "Beep boop bap," I said, "skdoo bep bop." The doors opened, and there she was. Jade. I have never seen myself blush that fast, or that red, because she pointed that out. She was now 6'9 and I was only 6'0, still tall though. "Hi!" She exclaimed happily, as if she wanted to date me! She took my arm and pulled me inside, almost like she wanted to show me something really cool. It had been long since I felt genuine love, so I went with it. "These are all your crew members," she remarked "they're all gonna be with you, cause I'm the leader! And mission coordinator." I asked who they are, and she introduced them all one by one.
"That's Owen, or Onyx. He likes running around, and he's pretty funny. That's Ash, she's a huge weeb, like her brother! That's Jake, or how you'll be referring to him, Shade. He's an ex-marine who was betrayed, he's physically capable of most combat related things; and my neighbour! And last but not least... That One Guy, or as we call him, Harlem, he has a GIGANTIC crush on me, and it's embarrassing. He keeps trying to touch me, and cannot handle rejection. Or even know that being told no, means no. He also harasses anybody that has a crush on me too, or anybody that tries to talk to me in his vicinity. What about you, care to explain yourself?"
"Yeah! You seem pretty cool, also having that unspoken skibidi rizz!" Ash blurts out, with Onyx giving me the googly eyes, Shade searching for a mask for me, and Harlem just looking at me. Menacingly. "Well, since you asked so kindly m'lady!" I said in the most smug way, to mess with the others of course, and Jade, "I'm Ethan, but-" I say before a Dominus Empyreus gets thrown at me, but don't fret, I caught it. "You can call me Dominus."
"Anything else, show-off?" Harlem snarls at me, before the rest looks at me, Jade blushing hard while looking. "I do have lots of human enhancements. Like height and sensory perception. I have more but that would take too long." I just said smugly. Jade then tells me that for my practice, me, Onyx, Harlem and Shade would go do a heist for police files on us, while Ash helps out with stuff around the warehouse, like weaponry, food, supplies, and cleaning. Jade will help, but she also needs to coordinate missions. "Alright, you in?" She asked us before I just said, "In the file room? Yes." She was just shocked. "I didn't even give instructions yet, but I'm impressed with how you managed to go that fast!"
"Y'know my girl, I'm better than that knuckle-headed freak in every way. So why like him?" Harlem says on the radio "You know I like him?!" She yells before realizing she fessed up. "I mean, as a friend though."
"Yeah, like a friend," Onyx mutters in suspicion, "not as a lover." We get out, then return back to the base. Of course with the files, what did you think? And of course in police uniforms, like impersonators (Fun Fact: Impersonating an officer is a crime). Once Jade sees me, she came running towards me, happy that I'm back, and even, on definite accident, kissed me! We both shared a moment of happiness and love in Wonderland, before realizing we kissed. "Oh gosh, I'm really sorry!" She just worriedly exclaimed before I told her I forgave her, hinting I liked the kiss, because she hinted she liked it. Now, of course, I'm gonna be moving in the warehouse, cause it's like a college with dorm rooms. And since I live alone, I sold my house for a lot of money, pretending to be someone else, and putting it up for a whole lot of money, like, 1 million dollars.
