The sound of chatter coming from other students fills up the school cafeteria.
Meanwhile, You and everyone else just sat together with just pure awkward silence.
'well, this is...Uncomfy.' you thought as you ate your fries.
But after a few seconds of more silences. Someone finally decides to speak up.
"I think we should go back to savannah." Tyler spoke up and you darted your eyes towards him immediately.
"Uh-oh. Here we go..." You muttered under your breath. Frowning a bit before swallowing your fry.
"I thought everyone agreed it was too dangerous...?" Logan recalled as his eyes looked down towards the table. "Yeah, and isn't this like... The fourth time? Geez."
"So what? Were just suppose to let things stay like they are?" Tyler retorts and your eyes narrowed.
You narrow your eyes. Though you stayed quiet. Not wanting to add anything else into the conversation.
Cause you didn't wanna waste your energy on something that will just end the same as before.
"I'd rather be semi-stuck than permanently stuck." Ashlyn adds into the conversation as she looks at something from the corner of her eyes.
"Well maybe if you would have told us the truth from the beginning, we wouldn't be stuck at all!" Tyler says in an angry tone.
"You're not being fair Tyler. Ashlyn had a good reason. I thought we already grew passed this?" You say and you immediately get a glare from Tyler. 'ah great. Should've just sticked with silence...'
"Oh spare me y/n. You're not any better since you're one of the reasons we couldn't avoid all of this either." Tyler commented.
Your eye twitched. You smiled and let out a dry chuckle.
"...Excuse me? There's no way your ass isn't blaming me for not saying anything? Cause you know damn well if I had said anything it wouldn't even get through that big head of yours."
You retorted. Feeling your irritation grew even more. Tyler looked kissed off at your comment too and there was a short time of the two just shooting glares at each other
"Stop it you two." Ashlyn finally spoke. Being the bigger person, you decided to turn your gaze away.
Just now realizing you let your temper get the better of you because of this guy. You let out a soft sigh and you look back down at your food.
"Besides iI already explained why I didn-" ashlyn was about to add but aiden decided to intrude on the conversation.
"You don't need to explain any further Ash.." Aiden interrupts ashlyn, chuckling as he stared at the french fry that he was holding. "Cause weren't you the one who brushed it off as a prank and walked off."
"If either of them had said anything, would you even believe them?" He continues speaking as his gaze then turns towards tyler.
"With your personality i seriously doubt it." He finishes as his grin widens.
And with that, something seemed to set Tyler off. Cause he snapped and slammed his hands on the table while he stood up angrily as he starts yelling.
"Whether i would have believed it or not she should have said something!"
"Now we're stuck in some demonic dimension running away from flesh eating creatures,"
"i've lost count by how many near-death experiences I've had,"
"None of us have slept in days We can't tell our parents or any--"
SLAM
You got startled by another slam occurring on your table.
You look over to the left to see no one other than ben. Who had a fist on the table and a finger in front of his mouth gesturing tyler to be quiet.
Tyler who also got a bit surprised slowly started to sit back down on his seat. But even after all that had happened.
He found himself deciding to speak up. But in a more quiet tone of voice.
"If we don't go back to savannah where this cycle began... Then what else are we supposed to do?" Tyler asks, and everyone stays silent including you. You look down at your food, and you thought about what tyler said.
'he was right about that. But going there would also be dangerous and could bring you guys real harm.'
Should we risk it?
