Chapter 10:Breathing

Tatsumi:DAAAAAH!!

Tatsumi and Akame were sparring on the training ground. Tatsumi rushed Akame and started swinging his wooden sword. He was no match for Akame who was parrying his every attack. Akame swinged her sword hard at Tatsumi, making him skidding back.

Tatsumi was not ready to give up yet, with determined eyes he looked at Akame.

Tatsumi:One...one more time,Akame!

Akame:Shouldn't you take a break?

Tatsumi:I can't rest now. I told you, right? Come at me like we're in a real fight. Here i cooome!!

Tatsumi rushed at Akame again, but out of nowhere, Bulat punched Tatsumi in the face. The force sent Tatsumi flying. Tatsumi the set up and looked at Bulat with disbelief.

Tatsumi:Wh...what the heck, big bro!?

Bulat:If you were in a real fight, you'd have to be aware of your surroundings too. You never know where the enemy may be hiding, right?

Tatsumi:Kuh!

Bulat:You're a lot more into it than usual. What's up?

Tatsumi steadily stood up and wiped small blood from his mouth.

Tatsumi:Nothing. I just want to level up as fast as possible. I promised Akame and Kerber that i will survive no matter what!

He had a determined face. Akame smiled at his promise and formed a small blush.

Akame:Tatsumi...

Bulat:Heh.

Bulat then slapped Tatsumi on his back, making him yelp in pain.

Bulat:Now that is handsome!! You're growing up!! Id you want to be even stronger, then team up with me! I'll train you the right way!!

Tatsumi:Big Bro...

Bulat:By the way Akame. Where's Kerber? I haven't seen him around the base.

Akame then shuddered at the mention of Kerber. Events from the night still played in her mind. She never imagined Kerber was capable of brutality like that.

Bulat and Tatsumi noticed that Akame started trembling. They were quickly to react.

Tatsumi:Hey Akame, you alright? You're trembling.

Akame then stoped trembling and looked at Tatsumi and Bulat, she then reliesed that she made them worrided.

Akame:I-im alright. It was nothing. Sorry for making you worry.

Bulat:Suddenly trembling like that was something. What was it?

Akame couldn't tell them about last night. Kerber told her to keep it as a secret. Bulat saw that she was not willing to talk about it. He then put his hand on her head and ruffled her hair a little.

Bulat:I see you are uncomfortable to talk about, so i'll not push you any further. Remember, we're always there for you. Like a family.

Akame was touched by his words. She smiled at his affection and reassuring words.

Akame:Thank you, Bulat.

Bulat:No problem. Now...

Bulat then moved towards weapon rack. He then grabbed long spear, his main weapon in combat. He then turned towards Tatsumi.

Bulat:Our first lesson starts now. Follow me!!

Tatsumi:R-Right, big bro!!

They soon left, leaving Akame alone. She repeated Bulat's words in her head but she couln't stop thinking about Kerber. She felt more scared of him.
