I made it just in time, and I saw Kai waiting for me at the entrance, "What took you so long, Mr. Torrez?" He said as he wrapped his arm around my neck. I have gotten used to his sudden touch. Today, of course, He had his uniform on with a skull pin. His hair is kind of like mine, but it's pointy. He had his sunglasses on top of it,and he had also dyed his hair smokey purple.

"Just had to take care of my sister, that's all." My tired eyes looked up at him.

"You still take care of others, but not yourself?" He sounded concerned, "I mean, just look at you, you look... sad."

"There's no problem in looking sad it's just how my face is, jerk." I rolled my eyes at him, "Besides, I'm doing great now that she's gone."

"I guess so. Your hair has been looking, urm... healthier?" He told me as we made our way in.

"Told ya." We went to my locker, "I wonder what will happen today." I mumbled.

"I also wonder." He said, looking at a girl walking by.

I look at the girl up and down, I think her name was Lexi. She's pretty, but not my type, "What? Are you trying to get laid or something?" I chuckled.

Kai looked back at me, "Of course. I want to have all the ladies at my party later tonight. "He said, smirking. I scoffed at him, and he laughed at seeing my response to that.

I heard the bell ring, telling us that it's now time to go to class, "See you later, Kai?" I smiled at him, holding out my fist.

"Of course, my love." He mumbled, hitting my fist with his.

"What?" He left before I got the chance to tell him something. I decided to leave it at that and headed down the hall to class B-13, my new classroom.

Once inside, I sat down in the middle row, a seat next to the window. I placed my bag next to me on the ground. I heard the chair next to me being pulled, and I looked up to see Lexi. The uniform doesn't match her one bit. Her light pink headband made it semi better, and she also had big fluffy earrings. Her hair was a coffee brown, and it was long, too. Her hair reaches her waist, and her bangs make her look cute, but as I said, she ain't my type.

She looked at me and waved, I waved back, "Soo... are you nervous?" She asked me, I don't really talk to others. Only when they talk to me can I talk back.

       "Kind of." I whispered.

"Well, you probably already know, but I'm Lexi." She introduced herself, extending her hand.

"I'm Marcus." I smiled, shaking her hand. Other students came in, and soon, the teacher walked in.

"Welcome back to school. I'm Mr.H, and I hope we have a great school year." He was old looking and had lots of wrinkles, and  he had rectangular glasses. He wrote on the board, 'September 8, 2024.' "Now, I expect good things from you guys. After all, you are all now seniors." Before he could continue, the door opened at full speed, making others jolt or gasp.

"Sorry, I'm late. I got lost making my way here." The blonde girl said out of breath. Her hair was tied in two low pigtails, and the tips were dyed in a shade of light pink. 'I should dye my hair one day.' I thought to myself.

"Yes, well, don't do that next time. Just ask around."He paused and looked down to read a sheet of paper,

"Everyone, this is Amber claire, a transfer student from Silver Oaks High." Everyone looked among each other and exchanged some whispers, "Please take a seat in front of Marcus." He pointed at me. Amber looked over and smiled. She soon made her way here.

"Hey Mark's, long time no see." She waved. This year is going to be awful.

"Hey, Amber." I forced a smile.
