Chapter - 13

A man dressed in black,while wiping out the sweat beads forming on his forehead spoke "Ma'am they left the cafe after meeting them. The Omegas are working right now as the cafe is quite crowded. So I won't be able to do anything." "Don't do anything today or the boys might return soon after getting the news. Just continue to keep an eye on them" Hiah ordered. After cutting the call, the man kneel down, trembling and cried out "Please leave me sir, I'll never do such thing for money. Please forgive me sir" The other man was none other than Alex, who just gave a blank look and spoke "Well guess what, you need to do what she says until my boss ask you to stop" After getting a positive response, he left.

Flashback

Boun had an ugly feeling while leaving his mate alone for a week, knowing that Haih could do anything to hurt him. So, he asked Alex to keep a tab on Hiah.

Three days before leaving, while the trueblood was in a meeting he got a message from Alex informing him about how Hiah's man has been keeping a tab on Prem. As soon as the meeting ended, he called Alex and asked him to follow the man and catch him red handed.

Present time

Both the omegas decided to stay together till their mates are back. It'll make them feel less lonely and both the best friends will be able to spend some time together. After closing the cafe, Manao too decided to join them for the night stay just like old days. After reaching the apartment, they informed their bf about their night stay and cut the call, but not before wishing a good bye with some kisses.

Boun entered his hotel room while thinking about his mate, although they just had a chat where he got to know about the sleepover. His wolf was gloomy, they both were missing their mate a lot. He thought that how easily he got habituated of seeing the younger in his arms that now surviving a whole week without his baby bun will be very difficult. After taking a shower, the trueblood lit his ciggarette,his eyes darkened as he thought about the plan. He can't let those precious Omegas get hurt because of the selfish motive of Hiah. He need to bring the truth in front of Ohm as soon as possible,his brother needs to know how dangerous of a woman Hiah is. And then no one will stop him from taking action against Hiah. Next morning, both the brothers after having breakfast left for their work.

It was the day before their mate's arrival, both the omega were busy buying groceries as they wanted to make their partners favourite dishes. Both of them after paying the bills decided to do the lunch together. While they were passing by the road, which seems to be unusually very quiet and empty, Prem noticed a car coming towards them at a very high speed, he out of instinct pushed Fluke away and within a blink the car ran away after hitting Prem, all the things in his hand were now mixed with blood, while Prem was lying in the pool of his own blood. Fluke stood rooted at his place shocked, not understanding what just happened. But snapped out of his trance hearing the whimpers, he immediately crouched down and hugged his best friend while crying for help and when he saw the other closing his eyes he cried out"Please keep your eyes open for me Prem, nothing will happen to you. Look at me buddy". Soon an ambulance came and Prem was taken to the hospital while Fluke was not even in his senses to notice who called the ambulance in an empty road, his mind was filled with the thoughts that today his best friend is in the verge of losing his life while saving him. He was feeling helpless, how will he face the trueblood, he couldn't even keep his best friend safe. After reaching the hospital, he informed Ohm and Manao about the accident. Manao soon reached the hospital while the brothers were ready to return in their private jet, not wanting to waste any more time.

Ohm was trying his best to calm the trueblood, who was growling in anger and pain. His strong pheromones were even making Ohm dizzy. Boun was regretting his decision of leaving Prem alone, knowing very well Hiah could hurt him. The mere thought of Hiah made him furious, he won't spare her this time even if it breaks his bond with his brother. This was the last string of his patience, now he will destroy her completely that even thinking of hurting his mate will make her soul shudder in fear. This time he will willingly let his wolf take over, because this time the trueblood will show, what happens when you mess with their mate.

On the way, he got to know from Alex that the man they kidnapped was just asked to keep an eye, while Hiah had paid a different person for the accident. He also apologised for his mistake, as he knew the other trusted him with Prem's safety, but he failed. Boun didn't say anything as he was already very angry upon himself and he didn't want to lash out on Alex. In the hospital,they saw Fluke crying in Manao's arms, his whole body was shaking. Ohm immediately rush towards him, hugging him close to his heart. Boun reached near Fluke, his own body was trembling with fear his voice nearly cracked while he spoke "Where's my baby bun? " He was trying his best to calm his wolf, not wanting to scare them. Fluke turned his head towards Boun and started crying loudly while muttering 'sorrys' in between hiccups and explained the whole situation about how the other saved him while putting his life on danger. Ohm kept on hugging his mate whispering sweet nothings because he may fall sick for continuous crying, while being terrified with the thought of Fluke being hurt. He can now understand how broken his brother must be feeling. Boun stood there digesting the fact that his mate was in the ICU lying lifeless because of his step mother, she stooped so low to hurt the trueblood that she even dared to pull this stunt on his mate. He growled lowly as he imagined the crying face of his baby due to pain. Someone tapped on his shoulder, there were his friends, Bright,Win,Rain,Payu with tears in their eyes. They knew how much Prem meant for their friend, and as always they were here for his support. Seeing them having his back, hot tears rolled down his  cheeks which he didn't even bother to wipe, his heart clenched at the negative thoughts, he was scared to lose his love, his peace. His friends let him cry,knowing very well he won't show himself in this state to anyone,and then made him understand to stay strong for his mate. He needs to stay strong for his love,maybe he can his vulnerability in front of Prem, but for now he needs to stable his emotions.
