Chapter- 18

After dropping Prem near the bakery, Boun drove to his office. He called Alex while he was in the elevator and his voice turned serious as he spoke "I need the details about the conversation between Ohm & my step parents in this few days. I need it by noon Alex. " he cut the call upon hearing a deep voice "Got it boss".

He entered his office to see Ohm already present. Nodding at his brother, he sat on his chair, waiting for his brother to speak.

Ohm shifted uncomfortably under his brother's gaze, clearing his throat he spoke "We have a meeting in ten minutes. Why were you late today?" Boun on the other side kept staring at his brother and spoke "I was busy pampering my mate. " The words almost sounded like a taunt to Ohm, he felt an ache in his heart while remembering his harshness towards his mate, but he decided to ignore it.

He spoke "But you need to understand that you can't disregard your work because of your personal life. You are the CEO so be more responsible." His words were out of concern but the tone he used wasn't something the trueblood was used to. He just raised his eyebrow, his wolf disliking the disrespect, but before he could say anything his secretary informed them about the client's presence.

After the meeting, Boun directly went to his cabin as he got a call from Alex and spoke " Yes Alex , any suspicious conversation. " On the other side, Alex cleared his throat and explained " Sir I got to know that during their meals since two days the older couple has been manipulating Ohm sir about how he is wasting time with the Omega when he should focus more on work they tend to brainwash against Fluke. " his voice turned hard upon saying the last line.

Alex, one of the most trustworthy men of Boun, who was appointed to keep Prem safe after the accident, so he is also being keeping an close eye over both the Omegas and he felt bad over knowing the scheme that the older couple where plotting against the Omegas.

Boun sighed while his eyes were watching the busy city through his cabin glass, while his mind was tired after knowing the tricks of the older couple, who didn't seem to stop any soon. His eyes turned red while darkened at the thought of his brother being brainwashed.

Many thoughts seen to disturb him but mainly how can he make his brother more mature and understanding to prioritise his mate over his parents' manipulation. The true blood always respected Fluke, also because he knew the older Omega was someone who truly cared for the two important person of his life, his brother and his mate. So after seeing the Omega hurt because of the dirty tactics of their parents' his mind was restless.

His thoughts got disturbed when he received a call from his mate, he picked it up with a soft smile, his worry slowly fading away as the beautiful face of his mate flashed before him and spoke gently " Yes my baby love." But all he heard was mischievous laugh and giggles, so he spoke again lovingly " What's up baby? Is something mischievous going through that pretty little brain of yours? Tell me. "

Prem, on the other side, blushed and cleared his throat while speaking excitedly "I have an amazing plan to make your brother realise my best friend's value and make him regret his actions. " The trueblood chuckled on hearing the excitement of his voice and asked about the plan.

As Prem finished narrating the whole plan, Boun burst out laughing and spoke " Baby you're such a cute little devil. I need to stay alert by not activating this mode of yours against me." Both of them laughed while the trueblood grinned agreeing to help his mate.

Prem called Alex after taking his number from Boun, after few rings Alex received the call and was surprised to hear the Omega's  voice and greeted him. Then Prem spoke "I need your help with something. Can you come to our bakery in the evening? " Prem demanded in a firm yet soft voice. While on the other side, Alex smile lightly giving a positive response.

Fluke kept looking at his best friend's  comical actions and finally spoke, his voice curious " Are you planning something?" while Prem pulled out his most innocent puppy eyes to convince him and spoke "I would never do such things" the elder omega just sighed at the youngers antics and walked away.

As the sun was starting to set, Prem spoke softly " Fluke you should take rest now. We'll wrap up the rest after few minutes. You should go and relax. "As Fluke turned to protest, Manao too spoke in a caring tone " We know you're upset, don't hide it from us. Go and Take rest for now." Sighing at their insisting tone, he packed his belongings and left for his home.

After Fluke left, Alex entered the bakery with a totally different look. Gone were the black shirt, pants and the cold look. Instead he entered dressed in a soft pastel blue over size short and base trousers making him look like a soft chocolate boy with a soft smile on his face.

Prem was surprised at his look but soon masked his emotions and greeted the other " Hey Alex, good to see you." While the other smiled nodding. The Omega asked him to take a seat while he attended the other customers. Alex relaxed casually ordering a coffee while his instinct we still sharp enough to keep an eye over the surroundings. Though he noticed a beautiful pair of hazel eyes admiring him from a distance, but he hid his smile.

Manao asked Prem as soon as he came back to the counter " Who is he? " Prem snickered at her curious voice but spoke nevertheless " You don't remember him, Alex is a good friend of Boun. He was the one who called an ambulance during my accident. " Manao smile in awe and spoke in a dreamy voice " He is so charming. " Prem fake glared at his friend and asked " What about your boyfriend?" Manao glared at him back, hiding her amusement and spoke " We broke up. There wasn't any Spark left."

Prem then teased saying " You could have tried the electric wires to initiate the spark. " While Manao tsked at his stupid joke, but Prem continued to say     "But you foolish girl hoped that he could be your mate." Both of them continued to giggle while b******* about the past love stories of Manav unknown to the fact that a pair of eyes were curiously watching them, specially her with a soft smile.

Heyy guys, we are soon going to have a new couple.. What do you think? Should I show few cute moments between Alex and Manao or not..?

And our Prem is back with his devilish plans.. Let's see what happens now..
