Before the Martial Law, President Ferdinand Marcos sr was a beloved president because of his different programs and infrastructure. For example, he built the CCP for the filipinos to showcase their love for their culture and country. He built many bridges and roads. Because of his succesful first term, he ran again for president. Presidential elections were held on November 11, 1969, and Marcos was reelected for a second term. When he was reelected as president, many problems started to appear.
