While the girls were... doing whatever they were doing, Harris and Nick were walking together. They really bonded at the mall, so here they are.

"So... do you have a girlfriend?" Harris awkwardly asked. "Uh- yeah, I do. Max- the redhead that was at the mall with me." Nick nodded at his friend.

"Oh." Harris shrugged. "She seems cool." As soon as he said that, Nick grinned. "Yeah, she's badass."

There was an awkward silence for a bit as they continued walking, both of them staring into space.

"So-" Harris started, taking a breath. "What's up with Will? You said you're friends with him, right?" Nick hesitated for a few seconds. He already put Max in danger, so should he really do this?

Fuck it. "Harris," Nick sighed. "You can't tell anyone what I'm about to tell you, alright?" Harris didn't get a chance to reply, because Nick started speaking. "Will... didn't disappear in the woods. He- was somewhere else." He started, looking at the pavement underneath him.

After Nick explained the upside down situation to Harris, the party (with Harris now, of course) were all at Mike's house, while Will was explaining.

"The first time I felt it was at Day of the Dead." Will said, as the party were all sitting near him.

"Power went out that night, too." Mike nodded. "And then I felt it again," Will started. Nick just rose his eyebrows and continued listening. "At the field near the Nelson Farm the next day."

"Then again yesterday outside Castle Byers." Will continued. "What does it feel like?" Max asked. "It's almost like.. you know when you drop on a roller coaster?" Will asked.

Everyone let out a small 'yeah', or a 'sure', except El and Harris. "No." They both said at the same time.

"It's like.. everything inside your body is just sinking all at once, but.. this is worse. Your body- it goes cold and— and you can't breathe. I've felt it before, whenever he was close." Max furrowed her eyebrows in confusion.

"Whenever who was close?" She questioned. "The Mind Flayer."

"I.. closed the gate." El nodded at Will. "I know, but.. what if he never left? What if we locked him out here with us?"

As soon as Nick heard that, he pulled out some papers and crayons. "C'mon, draw!" He shoved the stuff onto a  table. Will picked up a black crayon, and soon enough, he began to draw. "This is him." Will pointed out, drawing a spider shaped figure.

"All of him. But, that day on the field, a part of him attached itself to me," Will paused for a second, smearing his hand across the drawing. He then showed his palm to the others. "My mom got it out of me- and Eleven closed the gate." Will continued. "But the part that was still in me, what if it's still in our world?" Will pressed his palm onto the paper.

"I don't understand." Harris pointed out, shaking his head. "The Demodogs died when El closed the gate. If the brain dies, the body dies." Max pointed out.

"We can't take any chances," Nick pointed out. "We need to assume the worst." Mike added, nodding his head. "The Mind Flayer's back." Mike nodded again.

"Yeah. And if he is, he'd want to attach himself to someone again. A new me." Will continued. "A new host." Lucas spoke.

"How can you tell if someone is a host?" El cut in. "How can you tell?" Harris asked the same question.
