New hobby and materialism happiness

I have a new dance group that creates dance content to one platform and competes once a year, just for fun. The group is not part of an association, but operates purely on an amateur basis. In the new group, I coordinate activities using cloud service and digital tools. On my own iPad, I have tools to communicate with the group, as well as the workspace with music files. In addition to these, I use my own playlist and beat counts and record programs on the iPad. During rehearsals, I use an speaker with the iPad.

Now we have over night camp in familiar sport resort and I'm heading towards the resort already on Thursday morning to pick up new jackets and shirts from the factory. I'll spend the night at a hotel in near by city, and on Friday after breakfast, I'll go to huge department store to buy competition makeup for myself. This includes dark lipstick and dark eyeshadow for the show makeup. At the same time, I'll buy proper makeup removers, moisturizers, and a makeup bag only for competition makeup at the same time. After I've eaten, I'll charge up the car, and finally head towards the center. Now we're finalizing the program and going through all the details for the upcoming competition weekend. I'll distribute new pink football jerseys, new gear bags and warm-up jackets. On Saturday, we'll start with program rehearsals. Since the entire group has practiced the program via videos, the rehearsals will go smoothly. Now we'll mainly focus on making sure the position changes work, rehearse the entrances, agree on the competition makeup and hairstyles. We'll finish Saturday's training day together with a light walk and a visit to the resort swimming hall. On Sunday, we'll do costume rehearsals with the outfits that everyone plans to use in the competition. This way, everyone can ensure that their outfit works well, including shoes, black tights, a sleeveless black undershirt, a new game jersey and competition makeup. After the camp, we'll meet with the group at a dance studio once more before the competition weekend. Communication is done in the online and groupchats. I no longer distribute any paper information sheets at all; instead, I post them on our webservice. We share common collective payments using the modern payment service.

We participate annually with the team in the European open competition. It's always a season-ending event and a fun trip with friends. We meet up at Airport. I park my car in the office building garage and hop on the train. We travel by train to Airport. The return flight is on Sunday at 7 PM. Finally, we make it to the airport and get the whole team on the plane. We stay at a hotel reserved for competitors on the event premises, enjoy a delicious hotel breakfast, and have lunch on-site on the competition day. For our suprise we win the our category Championship. With a few hours before the flight, we shower and change clothes for the trip home. We coordinate our team wear and wear our medals around our necks. We get the whole gang to the airport, and the journey home begins. The last leg of the journey begins when I get my belongings in my car and head home. Before going to bed, I unpack and quickly do a spa treatment on my face, then shower again. I leave the competition clothes on the terrace to air overnight. The best part is diving into clean sheets feeling fresh from the shower.
