Stupid Aaron, he thinks he has a chance with her but as if *scoffs*. Bring it on bitch. Aaron Everett it's either you or me. Finally, class ends, and I am free for the day and that means so is he. Since both of us are princes and are pretending, we have the same classes.

I go out, putting my hands in my pockets of my uniform. All the girls start whispering praises for me but fuck them. God knows why Allayah wants to have extra classes; we're not even actually studying. I finished my actual college three years while Allayah finished a year ago. The time around when he joined along with his even stupider friends.

I keep walking down the hall and see them. They're pretend fighting, what are they children. I pass by them.

"Going somewhere, Redwood?" Aaron snickers, I am controlling myself to not accidently rearrange his whole face but no she'll find out and start crying why did you do that shit and shit. God knows what she sees in this piece of jackshit.

"Yes, as a matter-of-fact Everett. Somewhere where your annoying ass isn't." I return his smirk with one of mine.

"Aww sad but thanks I'll spend more time with her that way." This bitch. How dare he.

"By all means try but I can't guarantee your safety." I gave him a smile and leave; I have better things to waste my time on. I kept walking and reached near the door. I see her, she's talking with a teacher. It has been barely two weeks since she joined here, and everybody already loves her. She says bye to the teacher and starts walking towards me. Her eyes immediately light up when she sees me, her friend but one day it'll be for a different reason I swear. She starts walking faster.

"Hi." She says still smiling, a bit out of breath.

"Sorry I have classes today, but I'll try to come early." She continues. Gosh, I love her so damn much. She gives me a smile and starts to leave.

"Allayah!" I call out to her.

"Yeah?" She turns around, looking confused.

"Can I hug you?" I ask, her face growing with worry.

"Okay." She says raising one eyebrow and stepping closer. I hug her and she awkwardly pats my back. This girl, I laugh and step back. Her hands settle on my shoulder.

"Are you okay, is something wrong?"

"Nah, its fine."

"But why the hu-" Some girl calls out to her saying late for their class and tells her to come back. She gives me one last look of confusion and worry mixed together. Her eyes move up and down.

I wave her bye and she finally leaves. I adjust my uniform and smirk. I knew Aaron was watching that's why I hugged her, she usually doesn't like hugging in general but me being her greatest friend is an exception, I'll have to make up some excuse but right now One to nil, Aaron. Game on.

By the time I reach home it's already seven. Mum texted me to buy some groceries on the way but that took wat to long, why the hell would the store be so crowded on a random Tuesday. The elevator opens, Allayah is on her phone on the couch, leaning back, her legs in a cross position. Mum sits next to her holding a pillow watching random cooking shows. I smile, a perfect family.

I walk towards the kitchen and place the stuff on the island.

"Care to explain, why you hugged me all of a sudden today." She huffs, slighting pouting, She's adorable. Since I am taller, she cranes her neck upwards to see me. I didn't realize I kept staring at her, until she snapped her fingers in front of my face.

"Earth to Cyrus, where the hell did you go?"

"Uhh nothing, I just felt like it."

"Uh huh, you expect me to believe that." She's not convinced one bit; couldn't I have thought of a better excuse. She probably thinks someone said or did something to me that's why I hugged her but. *sighs*

"Do you want to cook tonight; you know like old times." I try to change the subject.

"Don't try to change the subject, citrus." She deadpans.

"Come on lilac, I bought your favorite chocolate." I wave it in front of face hoping she'll buy it and go with my shit of an excuse. She snatches the chocolate from my hands and starts eating.

"Fine so what 'we cooking today, my apprentice." She says looking through the shopping bag. Thank God.

"Your apprentice? You mean my apprentice." I say pointing at myself. She makes a done face, but she even knows if I let be in charge she'll burn out the whole penthouse. My sweet but clumsy Allayah. One day, one day and then you'll be mine. Forever.
