I lay on the ground, waiting for Trish, the music blasting in my ears drowning out the world. Thank God there is a picnic blanket or else the grass would be stabbing my back. Trish called saying she wanted to meet, she sounded scared. Thats abnormal because she is the one with the huge ego I wonder who bruised it. Ooo, maybe a boy, she does like them red flags.

I see her running towards me panting but hear nothing because of my headphones. I know she is speaking but to me it seems like she is lip syncing, I bop my head looking at her.

She yanks my headphones off. Oh, come on, can't a girl enjoy music without any interruptions.

"What?" I ask being irritated 

"Aaron knows"

"About what?" This sounds like drama to me, especially when there is a hot boy involved and yes, I may have a little something for Aaron. You can't blame me; he has the looks that would rival a supermodel and a somewhat interesting personality.

"The mind link, HQ EVERYTHING!" More interesting. See, I told you that boy knows how to create drama. 

"So?"

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN? SO, HE KNOWS, what if he makes a mistake?!" Geez, someone calm this woman down. Oh right, I am her best friend I am supposed to do that.

"He is nosy for his own good, but you can't blame the guy, he grew up like that. According to him, he needs to know every secret to stay on top lest he'll go in a self-destruction spiral and as much fun that will be, we can't afford that at least not now" Damn, I sounded calmer than I thought.

"What do you mean for now?"

"You think the top three or even the rest of society would let him live if he knew obviously not, and we need to figure why." Her eyes widen as the realization hits, this doofus. Lesson no. 1 kids stay calm if you are stuck in a problem, less work that way. Not like this is a problem, though it could actually be a blessing in disguise.
