PART 27

Days passed in the blink of an eye. It was the month when the vacation starts. Adheera was really stressed as Reena has finalized that they are going to India. Both of them were really happy about it so he couldn't refuse it too. Tomorrow is their flight and Reena had literally packed everything like she was vacating this place forever. That made Adheera more furious and tensed.

It was night time and Reena was patting Shreya to sleep. Aditya opened the door found Reena making Shreya sleep. She gestured him not to make any sound. She gently tucked her onto the bed and kissed her forehead. Both of them then left to their room.
'Okay so what happened??? Why do you look so stressed'??? Reena asked confused finding him so lost in his thoughts.
'Nothing. Just the work stress'. Aditya replied casually. Reena went towards him and checked his temperature.
'You seem like so worried about something. You can share anything with me'. Reena said caressing his face.
'Its not important love. You don't have to worry about it'. Aditya said kissing her hands.
'Hmm. Then let's sleep. Tomorrow we have to get up early'. Reena said in an excited tone as she headed towards the bed.
'Is this trip really necessary??? I mean we still have many more other places'??? Aditya said sounding irritated.
'What do you mean??? India is the best and also you only told na it's our motherland. And you didn't even took me there after my accident. So why don't we go now'??? Reena said sitting up on the bed.
'Sweetheart you won't understand'- Aditya started but was cut off by Reena.
'Yes I won't. We are going to India tomorrow and if you want to accompany us you can or else you don't have to. After all what can I expect from you'??? Reena said sounding sad.
'I didn't mean to upset you love. Infact what will I do without you guys here. I will also come'. Aditya said holding her hand.
'And will you stop being distant from me after this vacation'. Aditya asked with a hope in his tone.
Reena was actually in a dilemma. She didn't what to answer. She nodded hesitantly.
'Now stop asking more questions and sleep '. Reena said lying down on her side to which Aditya looked at her disappointed.

Meanwhile in Mumbai

'Jenny there is some issue in our Bangalore branch. So you have to go there and see what's actually troubling them'. Rocky said averting his eyes from the files while Jenny was glaring at him.
'Seriously Rocky why can't you do it. I just came back from work yesterday and you are sending me again'. Jenny angrily said to him.
'Yaar why can't you understand??? I just hate that place. It triggers my worst memories. Please for the very last time please go there. It's an urgent matter'. Rocky pleaded her.
'No. You have to go there. You have to face your problems instead of running away from them Rocky. Plus I can't always look after you. Remember I have a boyfriend and he will surely ditch me if I continue to run behind you'. Jenny said crossing her arms.
'But'. Rocky said but it was cut off Jenny.
'No more buts. I am gonna pack your bags and book the ticket. You are going to Bangalore yourself. I will also ask Sharath to accompany you'. Jenny said patting his shoulder and moved upstairs to book the tickets to which Rocky sighed heavily. After all it's not at all easy for him to go to the place where he lost everything.

The next day

Reena and family boarded the flight. It was a whole new feeling for Reena. She felt a thousands of emotions in her heart which she couldn't describe. She is feeling like her life is going to change by going India. All these thoughts were making her head to ache.
'Are you okay'. Aditya asked breaking her chain of thoughts.
'Yes'. She could only utter that word. She found her child looking out amazed by the view before her. She chuckled and held her close.
'Mumma when will we reach India'??? Shreya asked pouting.
'We will reach there soon baby. Just wait for some more time'. Reena calmed her impatient daughter.
Then Shreya started describing what all the activities she wants to do in India which Reena and Aditya listened with a smile on their faces.

In Bangalore

Rocky set his foot on the land of banglore after what felt like a decade. The memories of his past coming towards his mind. The helplessness. He hated this place. He wished to not come here anymore. He lost everything here. He couldn't save his parents, her. He doesn't even know if she is alive or not. He is blaming himself for all the things that happened in the past. Sharath noticed his face and placed his hand on his shoulder to bring him out from his thoughts.
'I don't think I can stay here more. I will definitely lose my sanity'. Rocky said his eyes tearing and voice broken.
'Rocky stop thinking negatively. It's just a matter of few days. We will sort out the issue soon and then leave'. He said nudging him to go to which Rocky let out a deep breath and walked forward hesitantly.

'What??? When did he leave to Bangalore'???? Shakti asked Jenny. Worry evident on his face.
'Yesterday. There was a flight and I booked it. He might have reached now'. Jenny said casually.
'Then why didn't you inform me'??? Shakti asked angrily.
'Whats the need to inform you??? See I know you are with us to help but that doesn't mean we should do everything only after getting your permission'. Jenny said in an irritated tone.
'I didn't mean that. But you know Rocky. How much he hates that place now. I think it wasn't necessary to send him there'. Shakti said quickly inorder to avoid any suspicion.
'Rocky must go there. He can't always sit here and monitor everything. Also I think it's better as he badly need a change'. Jenny said.
'Now excuse me. I have another call to attend'. She said cutting the call leaving Shakti frustrated.
'Adheera might have left to India. What am I gonna do now'. He mumbled to himself.
'Arghhh'. Shakti screamed breaking the glass near him to pieces.
