Onyx's face contorted into a snarl as she glared at Morro. "Where is he?" She hissed. Morro didn't respond, merely leering at her. Onyx's face flushed red in anger. "I asked you where Lloyd is!" She snarled. Morro spun the sword and shrugged. "Not even I know that. You're never going to see your precious little Lloyd ever again," he said, his ghostly mouth twisting into a cruel smirk. Onyx lunged at Morro, her katanas slashing at him.

"Why!? Why can't you just stay dead? We've done nothing to you!" She shouted, hissing when he deflected her blades. "Why do you get to have a prophecy? Why do you get to matter?" Morro returned, slashing at Onyx. She gave a bitter laugh. "You think I wanted that prophecy? You think I wanted to be told that I might kill everyone I love!?" She shrieked. Morro gave a snarling laugh. "Better that than to be nothing!" He spat, lunging for her throat.

Onyx dodged quickly, her eyes wide. "What the hell!? Nothing? Morro, you were never nothing! You were kind, caring... What happened to my fratello?" She said, her breath coming in quick pants. "Kind? Caring? Those are worth nothing! Power is what matters, and in death, I've finally found it!" Morro cried. Onyx stiffened. "No you haven't." Her voice was soft, even as their elements took on a mind of their own, the wind whipping around them and the darkness twisting and curling beneath their feet.

Those words finally cut through to Morro. He stiffened. "What?" His voice was curt, a veiled fury beneath it. Onyx took a shaky breath, the anger rising in her. "You don't have power. What are you doing this for? Your master. All of this! All of this destruction, the hell you put Lloyd through, was for your master." Onyx waved her hands mockingly. "'Oh yes, Mommy Preeminent, I will do whatever you say.' Pathetic. You betrayed yourself. You let your ambition consume you. You turned your back on everything. And now, what are you? A ghost. A cursed spirit damned to suffer, all because of what? What, you weren't special? You weren't the Green Ninja? I'm sure it was so sad, not having a prophecy that dictates your entire life, forever. But hey, you obviously wanted some higher power to dictate your life, so how does it feel to be the Preeminent's lapdog, huh!?"

Onyx's voice was a screech now, not letting Morro get a word in edgewise, but she didn't care. She had held all of this in, and now it was spilling out in a mess of words all over the floor. "Power means nothing if you're alone! Why can't you understand that!? Without love or kindness or even friends, then what's the point?" Onyx was holding back tears now as she screamed at Morro, who merely laughed. "Love? Love is a lie, Sorellina. It holds no power in the face of true darkness," he leered, floating upwards, silhouetted against the now-gaping hole in the wall, the Preeminent's tentacles weaving through Stiix.

Onyx's mouth twisted. "Darkness? You don't know what you're talking about, because you're a coward! You've done nothing but hide behind your delusions! You didn't even confront me with your own face until now! Because you. Are. Pathetic." Onyx glared up at Morro. She knew she was repeating herself, talking in circles, but she didn't care anymore. "Come osi parlarmi così, Onyx? Io sono tuo fratello, il tuo sangue!" Morro snapped, slipping back into Stiixian in his ire.

Onyx's eyes narrowed. "Non so più chi sei, ma sei sicuro come l'inferno non mio fratello." She reached into her lapel and flung something at Morro. They skittered across the floor, coming to a halt at his ghostly feet. "Quello è mio fratello. È quello che ricordo," she said softly. Morro stared down at the metacarpals, his eyes flickering. Finally, they hardened. "Ti sbagli. Hai sempre sbagliato. È così che è oltre il velo. E presto ti unirai a me!" He snapped, throwing a gale at Onyx, strong enough to fling her out of the window with a cry.

Kai suddenly lunged from nowhere, catching her before she could hit the ground. "Are you alright!?" Zane asked urgently. Onyx groaned and nodded. "Physically. Emotionally, I'm-" Onyx cut off as the tentacles rose higher and higher into the air, a vast orb-like creature emerging from the ground. "Spinjitzu Master, have mercy..." She breathed as the Preeminent's grotesque form rose from the ground. Onyx retched as she sensed a violent wave of darkness emanating from it, strong enough to make her stomach turn.
