How?

Troy Pov

After Jake and I were given something to cover our crotches and had his hair tied while mine was left loose with my Que hanging freely. Jake and I came to a where they were having a camp fire and everyone went silent

Jake: "Please don't get up." He chuckles but Troy taps him on his back

Troy: "Come on, let's sit." We walked through the narrow space as Jake stepped on someone's tail making her hiss at him

Jake: "Sorry." They went back to what they were doing as Neytiri made Jake sit while Troy sat down and judged him "What?"

Troy: "Don't do anything stupid." I chuckle under my breath

Jake: he shook his head before looking to his side "Hey, how you doing?" A young Na'vi girl tried to reach for Troy and Jake but her father pushed her back as troy and Jake chuckled

Troy: "This is the strangest crap I've ever been through. We need to tell Grace when we get back." I looked to Jake

Jake: "Yeah." Neytiri came back and offered troy and Jake something "Thank you." He looked to the chief, Tsahik and Tsu'tey as they were glaring at him. He looked to Neytiri "You know, I never got your name?"

Neytiri: "Neytiri te Chaha Mo'at'ite." She ate

Jake: chuckles "Again, a whole lot slower?"

Neytiri: "Neytiri."

Jake: "Netili?" Neytiri looked annoyed

Neytiri: "Nay-ti-ri." She said slowly as jake repeated it properly this time

Jake: "It's nice to meet you, Neytiri, it's nice." Troy watched the two of them and smirked at jake while he ate

Troy: "Smooth move, Jake." I said smugly as he hit me making me snort and laugh at him under my breath

Short Timeskip

Jake, Neytiri and I were in the branches of the tree as she lead us along, she hoped down and dropped into a hammock of sorts that looked like a web and laid down in the middle one

Jake: "Don't get smart." He flicked Troy's ear as the boy shoved him slightly. He hopped down into the hammock on the left

Troy: "Don't forget to tell Grace, Troy." I go to the hammock on the right and lay down, I look over as Neytiri pulled the end of hers and it closed around her. I did the same as it closed around me 'Whoa...' I closed my eyes

Troys Body

I opened my eyes and saw the light of the room. Suddenly the doors opened and Jake, Max, Norm and Grace came inside. Grace sat me up and held my face before speakijg in a panicked tone

Grace: "Start explaining, now." Troy pulled her hands off

Troy: "You're not gonna believe this..."

Jake: "It's better that you sit down for this."

Short Timeskip

Grace, Norm, Max and Jake were sitting in the infirmary room listening to me explain to them about what had been happening and that they weren't just dreams

Troy: "Since the first time I've been linking to this Na'vi's body and I a, able to understand what they say. I didn't know how to tell you all without sounding crazy." Grace rubbed her temples while thinking

Grace: "This is completely crazy, it doesn't make any scientific sense, it's nothing short of magical if you ask me, how the hell do I tell anyone about this?" Max stood up

Max: "If we can put him into one of the link incubators, would it be a way for him to safely connect to his avatar body safely?" He looked to Norm

Norm: "It's worth a try, as crazy as this all is, there has to be a reason and explanation for why and how he is able to connect with a random Na'vi body. We should start brainstorming this immediately."

Grace: "Right." She got up "You two, stay here and Jake, don't let the idiot go sleep, got it?" They left and Jake turned to Troy while in his wheelchair

Jake: "This is insane, the first natural avatar, huh?" He chuckled

Troy: I shook my head "It's strange, I got used to having both arms for a second there." I reached and didn't feel my arm "This is really something insane, huh? Never before seen, first of its kind." I said in disbelief

Jake: "Don worry about it, Augustine will get everything sorted out." He rolled over to Troy's bed and put his hand on the boys shoulder "We always figure it out, don't we?"

Troy: I smile "Yeah...no matter how terrifying."

Timeskip-next morning

We were in the cafeteria while Jake and I sat with Grace and all her colleagues telling them about the brand new discovery of my natural avatar link as everyone was listening in surprise

Grace: "So basically, we believe it has something to do with the DNA from sully and the Na'vi, the Na'vi might have had a relative of sorts which Troy can connect to." She looked to Jake "And this idiot, the last thing we see, is this Marine's ass disappearing into the bush with this angry Thanator running after him." They all laugh now

Jake: with food in his mouth "Hey, it's not something you can teach."

Troy: "I don't know what to tell you, it all just kind of happened."

Scientist: "That is awesome." They chatter and chuckle

Grace: "You know, for reasons I cannot fathom, the Omaticaya have chosen the both of you. God help us all." They all laughed while norm looked bothered

Short Timeksip

I was walking through the facility and enter the lab where I met with max, we fist bumped each other and I leaned over his shoulder while watching him work on the code for my incubator in order to link with my avatar

Max: "So, if you can link with your avatar, then you definitely share DNA with it." He took a needle out "Sit, and sample." Troy sat beside him in a chair and he took a blood sample "Just like that." He got up and walked over to another computer

Troy: "So that's how these things work? DNA and science to put your mind into another body?" I chuckle

Max: "Thats just it, buddy." He turned and came back to the main computer and began to set up the final code "Okay, move over to the incubator." He got up and lead Troy

Troy: "So I really get my own one of these now?" I chuckle

Max: "You got it." He smiled "Now, Jake is talking with the big boss. You ready for a test drive, you living miracle?" He smirked

Troy: I smiled and sighed "You know what? Put me in coach." I climbed into the machine and laid down on the soft padding before pulling the hatch closed "Let's do this."
