It had been a month since of Kylian's engagement, Alia was trying her best to forget about him and move on. She knew it was impossible, but she had to try. She threw herself into her work as a scientist, spending long hours in the lab, trying to distract herself from the memories of their time together.

But it was no use. Everywhere she looked, she saw reminders of Kylian. The lab where they had spent countless hours working together, the experiments they had conducted, the notes they had shared. It was all still there, a constant reminder of what she had lost.

Meanwhile, Kylian had not set foot in the lab again. He had returned to working at his father's company.

As she worked, Alia couldn't help but wonder what Kylian was doing, if he was thinking of her too. She tried to push the thoughts away, but they lingered, a constant ache in her heart.

Despite the pain, Alia refused to give up. She continued her work, determined to make a difference in the world, even if it meant moving on from the love of her life. But deep down, she knew she would always carry a piece of Kylian with her, no matter where life took her.

Alia wasn't feeling well, so she came home early from work. She was starving, and her stomach was growling with hunger. She went to the kitchen to make something to eat, but to her dismay, she found that there were no foodstuffs left. She checked the fridge, the cupboards, and the pantry, but they were all empty.

She quickly called Zara, to ask her to buy some foodstuffs on her way home from work. But Zara told her that she had run out of money, and wouldn't be able to buy anything until her next paycheck.

Alia was frustrated, but she knew she had to do something. She couldn't just sit there and starve. So, she decided to go to the supermarket herself to buy some foodstuffs. She grabbed her purse and headed out the door, hoping to find something affordable.

As she was shopping, she received a call from Zara, telling her that she was closing from work and since the company she work is close to the supermarket, she would meet her at the market. Alia agreed, and they made plans to go home together.

As Alia waited in line to pay her bills, a stranger approached her. "Let me take care of that for you," he said, flashing a charming smile.

Alia was taken aback but politely declined. "Thank you, but I've got it."

The stranger persisted, "Are you sure? I'd be happy to help out a beautiful woman like yourself."

Alia felt uncomfortable and firmly repeated, "No, thank you. I appreciate the offer, but I can handle it myself."

Just then, Zara burst into the market, her eyes scanning the scene. "What's going on here?" she asked, her voice loud and dramatic.

Alia rolled her eyes. "Just a guy trying to pay my bills, Zara. No big deal."

Zara rushed over, her eyes fixed on the stranger. "Oh, Alia, why didn't you let him pay? Maybe he would have asked you out and maybe helped you forget about erm!"

Alia sighed, shaking her head. "Zara, did I asked for your opinion. I don't want to go out with anyone else."

Zara threw up her hands. "But Alia, you need to move on!, you need to find someone else to make you happy. This guy seems nice, and he's clearly interested in you!"

Alia smiled sadly. "I appreciate your concern, Zara, but I know what I want. And right now, it's not some random guy at the market."

Zara huffed, "Fine, but you're missing out on a great opportunity! Mark my words, Alia, you'll regret not taking him up on his offer!"
