One month passed,
"Nandini.....Nandini, get ready fast. We are getting late." Manik shouted, Nandini came out of closet and said, "Just 2 minute. It's so difficult to tie this." She said showing the tie.
Manik shook his head, he took the tie and started helping her. He was busy tying the tie while Nandini was looking at him with a big smile. At the same time, Alya entered the room and shocked to see the closeness.
"I am sorry, I." Alya said, looking at Manik with accusing eyes, Manik tried to defend her but Nandini interrupted and said,"Alya, how many times I have told you knock before entering in our room. Did you forget this is couple room."
"Nandini." Manik said, seeing hurt on Alya's face.
"What Nandini, teach your friend some manners." Nandini said angrily and walked to the mirror, she picked the vermillion and fill her hairline. Alya felt jealous and bad seeing this, not able to control she turned and walked out of the room.
After she left, Manik said, "Nandini, why did you talk to her like this? Try to understand, she is upset because of Dhruv."
"Manik, I am not a bad girl. I can understand her pain, but that doesn't give her right to interfere in our private space. She came into our room whenever she wants. Whenever we talk, she interrupted our conversation. "She said, and before he could speak she walked out of the room. Manik sighed and walked out of the room.
Reaching dining hall, he was going to sit when Grandma walked to her room. Manik sighed, when he talked about Nandini's admission to college, Grandma got more angry and after that she stopped talking to him completely.
"Manik, it's alright. She will be fine, give her sometime." His father said, he nodded and resume eating his breakfast. After that, Manik-Nandini left.
