seventeen one-shots (semi-hiatus)

~here is something super short i wrote a while ago. do you guys want me to come out of hiatus?~

it was a gloomy afternoon. all you would hear was the pounding of the rain and our rushing foot steps. we neared the building quickly. Hoshi and i quickly rushed into the Pledis Ent. building trying to shield ourselves from the rain, not that it was helping. when we both entered the building i looked at him to see where to go. he silently pointed towards the elevator to my left as he wiped his face clean of the water. i rushed towards the elevator seeing as how we were already late for our meeting with the CEO. as we entered the elevator and pushed the button for the eighth floor. i couldn't help but feel uneasy and nervous and Hoshi could sense that from me.

"(y/n) calm down im sure that we will be fine," Hoshi said.

"but what if its not? what if he tells us to stop seeing each other? what if he threatens your career?" i said worrying.

"(y/n) it will be fine no one and i mean no one is going to break us apart. and if he threatens my career i will always choose you and-" he was cut off by the elevator stopping.

"great just great. this is freaking fantastic. just what we needed. why did this have to happen now why not tomorrow? why? why? why?" i started to ramble off about the situation.

soon the lights shut off in the elevator. i didn't notice but Hoshi was next to me trembling. slowly he went to push the emergency button on the wall with a trembling hand.

"(y/n). (y/n). (y/n)!" Hoshi said trying to get your attention, which he did.

"oh my gosh I completely forgot about you. im so sorry. here, come here im here for you," i said opening your arms for him.

seeing you with open arms he quickly rushed into your arms seeking comfort. how could you forget his strange fear of elevators breaking down. i can only hope that someone will come for us quickly and get us both out. a couple minutes passed and i checked my phone to see how long we have been stuck. my phone read 3:17 that means we've been in there for 10 minutes. suddenly an idea hit me. ill just use my phone to light up the elevator. i quickly turned on the flashlight and the light quickly illuminated the room. seeing the light from your phone made Hoshi relax a bit.

"thanks (y/n) i think you can let go now. I've calmed down a bit. i hope someone will come soon," he said.

you two spent time talking about whatever came to mind. "wait so you're telling me that DK attempted to cut Jeonghan's hair again?!" i said laughing.

"oh yah Jeonghan got so upset and livid even Coups could calm him down," Hoshi said.

i couldnt help but laugh even louder. my laughing was soon cut off but the sound of someone prying open the doors to the elevator. soon enough the doors were completely open and when they were Hoshi quickly rushed his way out. i shook your head at the sight of him running around being grateful for the light and for not being stuck anymore. as i made my way out, Hoshi grabbed my hand and helped me out the elevator. he quickly dragged me to the stairs. at first i didnt know why but then you soon realized the reason i was here again. we quickly ran up the flight of stairs until we reached a room with the word CEO on them. Hoshi then looked at me nervously and then knocked on the door. "come in," i herd someone says.

before going in i took Hoshi's hand and looked at him. he squeezed my hand reassuringly almost saying that everything will be fine. then he led both of us inside the room.
