UK part 1

Amelia pov:
It's been a week since I came back from L.A.
I'm playing with my sister right now. And then I hear my mom call us down stairs. We went down stairs and see our parents on the couch looking at us very serious.
JL: girls, please sit down.
L: what's wrong?
A: you're scaring me.
S: your mom got a request to be a lawyer in UK.
JL: and I will get paid more money. And we are thinking about accepting?
A: what do u mean accepting?
L: like move there?
S: yes.
L: what?...
A: no! I'm not going anywhere!
S: it's not ur decision. It's mom's decision!
A: I know! But I'm not going anywhere!
L: Amelia!
A: what?!
L: shut up! Mom is still thinking about that.
A: you're right. Sorry... anyway, how much time do u have?
JL: 4 weeks.
S: alright... now we know how Amelia feels about moving. Leana how do u feel?
L: I don't know? I don't want to leave, but I can't do anything about it.

- my heart sank when I heard about moving In UK. I don't want to leave. Not now that my life is perfect. I can't leave Jiji and Nidal. I won't say anything to them until my mom makes a decision... -

- two weeks later -

- my mom still hasn't made a decision. I'm with Jiji and Nidal at Starbucks right now. I haven't talked much, I'm just starring out the window and fidgeting with my rings. -

N: Amelia?
J: amelia!
A: huh? What- sorry.
N: are u okay?
J: yeah the last 2 weeks u are distant and ur zoning out much.
A: I'm okay...
N: are u sure?
J: ur so not okay! Tell us what's wrong.
A: there's a chance I'm moving.
N: where?
A: UK...
J: UK!? U can't move the furthest we've been away from each other is when I'm in Lebanon!
N: no! U can't move! I- we need u...
A: I don't wanna move either. But what choice to I have? It's up to my mom...
J: I don't get it. Why move?
A: my mom got a request to be a better lawyer in UK. In 2 weeks, 10 days exact she needs to have an answer.

- Jiji and Nidal hug me and I hug them back. The hug lasted for about 2 minutes. And then I got a phone call from my dad telling me to go home. -

A: I have to go...
N&J: bye...

- I arrive home and see my sister and my parents sitting on the couch. I immediately knew my mom decided what she would do. -

JL: girls.. I made my decision.
L&A: what is it?
JL: I... accepted...

- I started tearing up when I heard that she accepted. She told us in 10 days we are going to start packing since she still has to do some things in her "old" work. -

- 5 days later -

- in an hour the wonder family is coming over for dinner and we will tell them the news. I'm getting ready trying really hard not to cry. I did my make up and put on my outfit. A black top and a leopard print skirt. I heard the doorbell. The time has come. Dinner was not ready yet so aedryca helped my mom a little. Neshan, juju, Ella, Jiji, leana and I were in the backyard talking after 45 minutes my mom called us inside. We sat at the table, we ate and then my mom started talking. Of course it was about us moving... -

JL: so um... I got a request at work as a better lawyer and at a courthouse.
AE: that's amazing, Julia!
JL: thank u. But the job is in UK... and I accepted.
