Nidal pov:
A few weeks ago, when Amelia and I did the date video we had to lie about how I asked her to be my girlfriend. She said it's one of the best ways to get asked. I really want to ask her to be my girlfriend today, and I'm thinking about doing it the exact same way I lied about.

N: jiji!
J: what?
N: I need your help.
J: for what?
N: ask Amelia to be my girlfriend...
J: for real!?
N: yeah..
J: oh my gosh! I'm so excited! How are u going to do it?
N: did u watch our "date" video?
J: yes?
N: well I want to do it the exact same way I lied about.
J: she's going to love it! Oh wait she's calling.

- the call -

A: hey Jiji!
J: hey..
A: are u okay?
J: no I have a headache.. can I call u back later?
A: yes of course I just wanted to ask u if u wanted to come with me on the beach but it's okay. Feel better!
J: wait. Are u going alone now?
A: yeah why?
J: no reason. Bye!
A: bye feel better.

- end of call -

J: perfect!
N: what's wrong?
J: she said she's going to the beach I asked her if she's going to be alone and she is!
N: that's perfect! Wanna go to target with me to buy some things?
J: yes!

Jiji pov:
I'm so excited nidal is finally asking Amelia to be his girlfriend! We are going to target now to buy some things. and thank gosh he's asking her today because if he asked tomorrow Amelia would have won!

Amelia pov:
Im just walking around at the beach with my AirPods in. Im listening to the song leave a light on by Tom walker. Nidal didn't ask me out, that means I won. I'm telling Jiji we're going on a shopping spree tomorrow that she will pay. I'm happy for the shopping spree but sad he didn't ask me to bus his girlfriend. Actually... Nidal still has the chance to ask me out. But if he does that means Jiji is winning and I have to pay for her shopping.

Jiji pov:
- at target -

J: didn't u say u gave her flowers?
N: yeah, what kind of flowers does she like?
J: I know she likes red and pink roses.
N: okay.. I know she loves plushies let's go get one.

- we first went to the plushie section and found a big white bear with a pink heart on it. I know Amelia's going to love it. We also bought a bouquet with red and pink roses. We paid for the things and went back home to pick up this small boombox I have so I can play lover by Taylor swift on the background. -

J: nidal. Amelia just posted on her snap story she's on the beach, she's wearing the outfit u got matching. Go wear it too!
N: brilliant idea, I'm gonna go wear it!

- arrived at the beach -

Nidal pov:
I'm really scared in a few minutes she could be my girlfriend. The beach is empty. Amelia is walking on the sand with her earphones on. Jiji and I slowly walked up behind her. After a few seconds she noticed. The moment she turned around Jiji put on lover. She turned around looked at me in shock and smiling, she was blushing after about 5 seconds the part came on where Taylor says lover. I asked her...

N: will u be my lover?
A: yes I'll be ur lover!

- she squealed and hugged me tight, I of course hugged her back. The hug lasted for about a minute, the hug ended and she took the flowers and the plushie. She smiled at me and kissed me on the cheek, we hugged again and then Jiji squealed and hugged Amelia. -

Amelia pov:
I'm officially nidals girlfriend! He did it the exact same way he lied about on the video. It was the best thing ever. Jiji ran up to me and hugged me, I hugged her back. Jiji walked back home while I spent the rest of the day with nidal on the beach.
The sunset was beautiful, nidal and I were sitting next to each other, chatting and looking at the sunset. I'm really happy he actually asked me to be his girlfriend but sad I'm gonna run out of money because of Jiji. Well... it's worth it I guess.

N: I'm really glad to have u in my life, Amelia.
A: I'm glad to have u in my life too, nidal.
A: the sunset is beautiful tonight, isn't it?
N: yeah it is...

- I rest my head on nidals shoulder and he rests his head on my head. We were sitting on silence, not awkward silence, calm silence. Hearing the waves crash, looking at the sunset. I realized nidal interlocked our fingers. I looked at him smiling, he smiled back at me and we held eye contact for a moment. We both chuckled, we kissed and I rested my head on his shoulder again. -

sorry I haven't updated in so long. I'm in an orchestra-band, and we had a concert so we needed to practice. And the school year is coming to an end soon and I had to finish some assignments. 😭🫶. But this isn't the end there will be a few more chapters!
