Amelia pov:
I'm just sitting on my bed scrolling through tiktok. Till Jiji called me.

The call::
J: wassup bestiee
A: wassup pookiee
J: I'm bored wanna come over?
A: yah sure.
J: alright see u in 10 seconds!
A: literally.

End of call.

I went down stairs and told my parents I was going over to jiji's. she lived next door to me so we much see each other every day. I don't even knock on the door since our houses share a backyard I just go through there we pretty much live in each others houses. When Jiji heard me she ran to hug me. We hugged.

A: missed me??
J: yes! I haven't talk to u in like 30 seconds.
- we laugh-
J: actually wanna have a sleep over?
A: duh!

- we started blabbering about random stuff and gossiping -

J: ..and that's what she said to him.
A: she did not!
J: yeah she did!
A: okay so you know her younger sister layla right?
J: yes?
A: she's now dating her ex boyfriend!
J: what?! I thought it was her friend that betrayed her.
A: nope!
J: ouch poor valeria.. JK!!
A: yeah she kinda deserved it after what she did to Amy and jacob.

- Nidal comes in without us noticing -

N: who did what to who and why?
J: dude Nidal get out!
N: no, hi Amelia.
A: hey..
J: ugh Nidal will u get out?
N: nah.. I'll just sit here listen to u guys gossip.
J: fine! Anyway Amelia I forgot to ask u yesterday, who's ur crush?

- when she asks me that I look at her with wide open eyes, I noticed that Nidal is looking at me waiting for my answer too. What should I do? -

A: I don't have a crush..

- i kinda made it clear that I lied. -

J: yeah sure u dont! Wait are u not telling me because nidals here? It's okay just whisper in my ear who it is.
A: but I don't have one...
J: mhm...

- that mhm was sarcastic. Suddenly nidal's phone rings -

J: who is it?
N: Salish.
J: Awww ur little girl friend is calling u?
- got kinda jealous when she said it -
N: Amelia do u ship nalish as much as Jiji does?
A: to be honest i only ship as best friends but u guys do look good together...

- Jiji was looking at me with a raised eyebrow and kinda confused. Nidal left the room and called Salish back. -

J: girl- do u seriously ship them as friends?
A: yes.
J: why?
A: because I do?..
J: ooohkayy? Now that he left tell me ur crush!
A: I told u I don't have one!..
J: seriously not even Marcus from science?
A: Ew! No!
J: what? He's kinda cute.
A: no he's kinda ugly.
J: ... okay...

- the door was open and Nidal passed by the room to go to his, Jiji looked at him and then looked at me. She zoned out for a second. And then... -
J: wait! I have to ask u something...

- she stood up made sure no one was listening and closed the door. I looked at her confused and kinda nervous and scared about what was she going to ask me. -

J: do u like my brother?
A: which one?
J: Nidal duh!

- I'm looking at her with wide open eyes and blushing. How did she find out? -

A: why do u think that?
J: i just thought of that. When Salish called him and I told him " aww ur little girlfriend is calling you" u looked kinda jealous and when Nidal asked u if u ship Nalish u said u ship just as friends! And the way u look at Nidal sometimes says it all. So please tell me. Do. You. Like. Nidal?
A: fine maybe I do! Please don't be mad at me...
J: I'm not mad at you, and to be honest I kinda feel the chemistry between u and Nidal the last few months.

- I stand up and hug her right away I'm so happy she's not mad. -

J: are u thinking about telling him?
A: definitely not! I'm pretty sure he likes Salish..
J: well I think he likes u too.
A: why did he tell u anything?
J: no I just noticed the way he looks at u too.
A: what if I stay here and u go ask him if he likes me!
J: brilliant!

Jiji pov:
I just found out my bestfriend likes my brother! MY BROTHER?! It's okay I'm not mad the last few months almost a year they have been really close, and I noticed the chemistry between them. If they date I'm going to be happy for them, and Nidal better treat her like a queen! I'm going to nidals room to ask him if he likes her. -

J: Nidal can I ask u something?
N: shoot.
J: do u like Amelia?
N: why did she tell u she likes me?!?
He says that kinda excited . Like he wants her to like him.
J: I'm just asking because I noticed the way u look at her.
N: I can't lie she's is nice, gorgeous and fun to be around. But I don't know to be honest.
J: u don't know if u have a crush on her?
N: yeah.
J: ok..

- left the room and walked back in mine i bet he likes her, he pretty much said that he likes Amelia but just didn't say the yes. -

J: Ameliaaa! Guess what!
A: what?!
J: Nidal kinda said he likes u!!
A: Yayy!! What do u mean kinda?
J: well he said he thinks ur nice, gorgeous and fun to be around but he doesn't know if he has a crush on u.
A: that's something!

Amelia pov:
WHAT?! Nidal kinda likes me?!? I Waited years for this. But I still won't express my feelings. Jiji and I continued gossiping till 12 am and then fell asleep. I woke up again at 1 am to drink water. I went into the kitchen and poured some water in a glass after I finished my glass of water I turned around and saw...

A: Nidal?
N: yeah?
A: um nothing...
N: cmon.

- Nidal took me by the hand and took me to his room. I started to feel butterflies. -

N: wanna watch a movie?
A: sure. Anyone but you?
N: sure.

- I laid next to him on his bed and we watched anyone but you. Halfway through the movie I started to get tired and rested my head on his shoulder and put my leg on his legs, he noticed and he rested his head on mine. After the movie ended we talked about random stuff and it landed to talk about ourselves, now we know eachother better. After like an hour of talking we fell asleep. He had his arms wrapped around my waist and his leg between mine. -
