She changed her clothes, then slowly walked out of the bathroom to her nightstand, opening her drawer inside was the knife , that was a bright red dagger.

When Ginny first started to visit the god world, Livia gave Ginny a dagger, making Ginny imbue her god magic into it. You see, when a god or goddess is born, or if a person is turned into a god or goddess, that god or goddess is adamantly born with magic or spiritual skills.
So if that god or goddess struggles to control the magic that they are born with, in order to help them control it, they imbrue their magic into a weapon or object, making their magic easier to control. The gods who do this practice are called "starters because they are starting to learn their magic, but as that god or goddess soon is able to control their magic better in the future, they are able to start using their hands or minds to control their magic. Gods are also able to tell what kind of magic they have. Is by their color of magic; for example, dark magic is able to be told by the colors black and purple.

(A little note: this is what makes wizards and gods different; gods have the ability to control their magic with their hands or minds and are able to not use so much incantation to do spells, and when god imbrue there magic into a weapon or object it can make there magic even more powerful and stronger.) while wizards use wands to do magic and spells and need incantations, but even though some wizards are able to do wand-less magic, it's not as powerful as god magic.)
Ginny was one of those gods because she was still learning how to control her magic, and Ginny's color of magic was a dark, vibrating red. although Ginny wanted to do research on what type of magic she had. Livia wouldn't let her, and she told Ginny never to use her magic outside of the house near anyone; Ginny didn't know why.

Ginny held the dagger up to her chest, putting it between her neck and collarbone. She used her hand to grab a belt, wrapping it around her waist, and grab her dagger between her neck and collarbone, slipping her dagger into a slot located on the belt.
Ginny looked at Hermione, making sure she was asleep, and slowly and carefully, without any noise, put pillows under her blanket. to make it look like she was still in bed. Then Ginny reached into her draw again, grabbing her golden jumper device and pressing the button on top. Suddenly, Ginny was pulled down into a blue portal. leaving earth and teleporting to the god world.
