Before you get into the story, I want y'all to know that english isnt my first language! And that I still have school so that means posting chapters might be a bit lengthy.

I created this story with a goal to learn and get used to writing longer stories as I tend to branch off, especially since I am a perfectionist. Anxiety about a chapter being perfect or not really throws me off my motivation, thats why positive comments make me really happy. Tips would also be very helpful.

This story contains a female reader, around the age of 16. Sorry to my precious AMAB's and Non-Binary readers 😔. Also it's gonna be a really big slow burn book, so it'll take time for the story to be cool n' stuff.

Also, just imagine the Taisho era, or at least Tanjiro's time is waaaaaay long ago in this book. Im tweaking parts of both worlds so that they work together, but I try to keep it original.

Unlike her family and supposedly generations before her, Reader happened to be quirkless unlike most of the people today. She had no abilities, but she planned to still live a normal, happy life.

Whether you are rough around the edges, a social butterfly, or an angry ball of rage, you still tended to have kindness behind your actions, even without a quirk.

You've always fantasized what it would it be like to have different quirks; to create flame, to fly in the air, or to simply be able to hold all the groceries in two arms so you dont have to go back to the car a second time.

But you try not to let it get to your head and focus on yourself now and how you can be helping others, even if it is just a tiny bit.

After all, that's the closest thing you'll get to becoming a hero.
