Confession (Midorima x Reader)

(Pretend you're a completely poker face person like Kuroko here XD)

"Oi (First name)!" You heard a voice calling your name behind you. Turning around, you saw a green headed male walking towards you with a knife in his hands.

You raised an eyebrow at him as if it was just natural for you to see a random stranger who knows your name approaching you with a knife in his hands.

He reached something inside his pockets and handed it to you. You stared at it and realized that it was your pendant. It must've fallen from your pocket.

You took it from and bowed, thanking him then continued walking home again.

"Wait!" He grabbed your arm, making you flinched a little because of the sudden action.

"What?" You groaned, completely desperate to go home and take a rest but this annoying green head guy is in the way.

"I-I uhh.... Oha-asa said that today is a perfect day for (Zodiac sign)'s to go out and have fun with their friends." He hesitantly said.

"So?" You replied bluntly. Man. Can't this guy just go away?

"Ermm.. I...uhhh...---"

"Look. If you don't have anything to say, can you just go? You're in my way." You glared, making the male sweat.

He was completely taken aback by what you just said, sighing, he apologized for bothering you and walked away. Leaving you completely alone in the middle of the sidewalk.

"Tsk." You turned around and made your way home. Yes, for some reason, you're also known as a bad girl. Probably the main reason why you only have one friend in your school and she pretty much happens to be you cousin.

When you reached your house, you live alone, you headed straight to your bedroom and threw yourself into the bed and slept your worries away, not realizing that the green headed male has been up late at night thinking about you.

"SHIN-CHAAAAANNN!!!" Midorima groaned as he realize who's voice it was.

"What is it, nanodayo?" He asked, fixing his glasses.

"Soooo, how was your confession yesterday? Did it work?" Takao asked with shining eyes as if expecting a great answer.

"I never confessed." Midorima snorted. Averting his gaze when you just passed by. Takao saw you and saw a chance. Taking the opportunity, he grab Midorima's sleeves and drag the guy towards you.

"Oi (First name)-chan! Shin-chan here wants to tell you something. Teehee~" Takao run away, leaving you and the green haired guy alone in the school corridors.

"You again?" You raised an eyebrow at the guy.

"I'll kill that bastard later." You heard him mutter.

"Ehem!" You cleared your throat loudly, getting the attention of the guy.

"I-I....uhhh..." He stuttered, hesitating whether to speak or not.

You got impatient and walked away until he grab your arm, again.

"Can you please listen to me first?" He said, sounding a bit serious now.

"Why should I if you continue choking on your own words?" You raised an eyebrow at him.

Your eyes widen as you realized that he wrapped his arms around you giving you a tight hug. "I love you (First name). I know you don't like me but can you please consider my feelings?" He said gently, caressing your hair a little.

This is the first time that a guy has confessed to you. First time to know how it feels like being wrapped around a guy's arms.

Midorima let go of you and stared at your face for awhile, admiring your cute face with a slight blush appearing on your cheeks.

Snapping back to reality, you shrug your blush off and averted your gaze.

"I don't even know you." You pouted, crossing your arms.

You saw a smirk form in his lips. "Midorima Shintaro." He offered you his hand, waiting for you to shake it.

You sighed and shook his hands. "I don't need to introduce myself, do I?"

"No need. It was nice to finally meet you, (First name)" He gave you a gentle smile as he walk away.

For a moment, you were completely spacing out. Not knowing what to do. You shook your head and stared at the the green-haired guy ,who's back is currently turned on you, walking away.

A faint smile form in your lips as you realize something.
So this is how love feels......
