Taehyung's POV

After I got out of the restaurant I started to walk back to Jennie's residence, I couldn't bare to see both her and EunWoo being sweet to each other, I know it's kinda toxic but, I better get out just to avoid anymore damage to my feelings. As I walk, and cars passed by me, a huge rain pours down. "seriously after the electricity shutdown, then the things happening inside the restaurant, now this? Oh what could possibly go wrong after this?" I blurted out, like what the hell, I'm just too unlucky with all of these happenings, but without any choice, I continued to walk until I reached her home finally, i quickly took the keys hidden inside the flower pot near the door. I opened the door, but since there's no light, I have to walk and slowly touching things just to guide me upstairs, like seriously I'm actually liek a blind man now, the only color that I can see is black, it took me a lot of time before I reached the room where I slept in. Since, there's no power yet, I have to change my clothes and drying my hair with towels, now my eyes are starting to heat up and so as my head, I did not put my shirt as it's too hot inside the room. I lay on the bed and fall asleep immediately.

Several minutes have passed, I woke up with the sound of the door closing, "that's probably her" I closed my eyes attempting to sleep again, but I got distracted again when a flashlight hit straight to me, I act like I was sleeping, and now I can feel her sitting right next to me, then suddenly a hand touched my forehead, she immediately took her hands away and was about to get up when I took and back and embraces her. "Please... Don't go--, please don't leave me Jen!" That's all I say, "hope she'll let me this time".

Jennie's POV

I  can definitely hear his heartbeats now, It pounds so fast and so loud, that even the rain outside can barely be heard. Several minutes have passed and now I can feel that his embrace is getting loose, so I take it as an opportunity to get out of his embrace. Just when I was about to get out. Suddenly, the room is flooded with light as the power flickers back on. "Oh!" I startled, "It's back." He said softly

I turned to look at him, my eyes widened. He looks back at me, his expression is unreadable. I cleared my throat in unknowingly nervousness that I feel right now "I... I should probably go." I said, attempting to pull away from him, but he held me gently "Wait." He uttered looking at me "I... I don't want you to go." He uttered once more. I hesitate for a bit, and I don't know why, but my heart strangely pounds so fast in my chest. I can feel the heat of his breath on my cheek, that gives me shivers throughout my body. "But..." I couldn't finish my word as he put his fingers on my lips "Just stay with me for a little while." He pulls me closer, his arm tightening around me. I don't have any choice but to close my eyes, "just this time" I told myself before letting my mind rest.

Third Persons POV

The room is vast and dark, lit only by a single lamp on a massive mahogany desk. A man, dressed in a tailored suit, sits in a leather armchair, his face etched with fury. He slams the phone down, the sound echoing in the silence.

"He thinks he can just disappear? He thinks he can defy me?" He said to his mind clenching his jaw.

He picks up the phone again, dials a number, and waits impatiently. "Have you found him?" He directly said as soon as the phone was answered. The assistant on the other line was nervous, and didn't know how to answer his boss on the other side. Although the guy was hesitant he had no choice but to respond to his boss's query. "Sir..." He paused for a while, "we're still searching. We've checked all his usual haunts, but..."
