Years ago when our paths crossed
Fairy tales coming alive, I could see
For every falling star, I wished
Together and forever we could be
A little closer, when we had been
So little I'd know about you
Yet it felt different
One that feels for very few
Seasons changed and time flew
Across the same path, where we had met by
Walked away like strangers
And past suddenly felt like a lie
Never realized when the distance widened
Nor knew when the memories sank
Yet, I had let go of you
For someone who deserves you
