Chapter 20: Madhav's birthday

After having the turmeric milk and wiping their heads off, the boys could finally bid the lady Hitler urf Meera, a goodnight..

Mishti too had the same fate, just that Meera was ruffling her hair..

Mahi teased Jay till they slept in a deep slumber..

The birthday was in full swing..

Madhav had met his fans in the morning in a small meet and greet arranged by Anu..

They both came home to find it fully decorated and Mihir chasing Mishti to take back the balloons..

They chuckled and Madhav joined them in the run..

Anu went to Jay and nudged him:"Everything set?"

Jay nodded and winked at his wife, who nodded and spoke dramatically:"Haan, tu din ka 500th confirmation maang raha hai.."

Anu rolled his eyes..

Mishti squealed as she saw Mihir not running behind her..

She thought she was done, but she saw Madhav behind her with his fingers wiggling...she knew what that meant, tickle tickle..

She ran as fast as she could..

She screamed in shock as Mihir carried her and raised her in air..

The balloons released in air and Madhav used his acrobats to catch them..

Meera smacked her forehead as Madhav landed right on the sofa..

He grinned sheepishly..

Meera glared at Mishti who hid her face in Mihir's shoulder..

Mihir looked at his mother and gulped..

Meera:"Tum logo ne ghar ko chidiya Ghar bana Diya hai.. clean the mess you three..warna sabko padegi Aaj"

She walked away while hiding her smile..

Mihir and Madhav glared at Mishti, who pouted and wiggled..

Mihir put her down and she ran behind Meera:"Dadi dadi...neeni aai.."

Meera smiled and took her in her arms, and patted her head.

Mishti yawned for special effect and Meera kissed her forehead, humming a lullaby..

Mihir and Madhav looked at each other and the little monster in shock..

They sighed and shook hands and cleaned the mess..

Mihir hit the pillow right on Jay's face, who was laughing on him..

Jay booed him but didn't retaliate, they were already in enough trouble..

Mihir kept looking at the watch, as the family gathered around Madhav to cut the cake finally..

Madhav was wearing a cute birthday cap like a crown while others wore normal hats..

The lights dimmed and someone clapped...
Mihir smiled widely and narrowly slid away..

Everyone looked around confused, and that's when the lights came back and a song played in the background..

It was Madhav and Radhika's first song together..

Madhav gasped as he saw Radhika in front of him, on her knees, with a rose in her hand..

She spoke with a smile:"Happy Birthday Madhav.."

Mihir smacked his forehead and actioned her from the second floor of the house..
