A/N: I want to now try and update this one everyday, let's see if I can pull it off.

Happy Reading.
..

They heard a sharp sound outside the cabin and Mihir looked back in shock. He had been too engrossed in his thoughts.

Sonakshi looked up in surprise. Her team clearly knew not to be around the cabin while there was a session going on. They were responsible enough to heed to that.

She stood up and walked to the door and pryed it open to see a young boy having his ear against the wooden frame of the door.

The boy stumbled and held onto her shoulders to balance himself. He gulped as he looked up to see her.

Sonakshi raised her eyebrow, and then scanned the surroundings.

There was no one. She moved back and the boy lost balance and fell on the ground, his nose hitting the tiles.

Sonakshi:"Who are you?"

Mihir stood up to see the intruder, and was amused to see Anurag rubbing his aching nose, while glaring daggers at Sonakshi.

Mihir spoke:"He's my brother, Anurag."

Sonakshi turned to him:"I thought Mr. Madhav was your brother."

"I've more brothers, any problem?"

"We're back to being rude Mr. Mihir?"

"Bhaiya yaar, aise kon baat karta hai therapist se?"

Both of them snapped at Anu, who took a step back and raised his hands in surrender:"Ok, carry on"

"Mr. Anurag, why were you trying to eavesdrop our conversation?"

"Because I know Bhaiya well"

"Matlab?"

Anu turned to Mihir angrily:"Matlab ye ki aapne jhuth bola, sirf baat taalne ke kiye, humare dil rakhne ke liye Haan keh Diya aur fir aise behave kar rahe the inse"

Mihir opened his mouth to speak but Sonakshi beat him to that:"I know that already, Anurag, and I know it was wrong of him. You can scold him later but let us complete the session first, he was finally settling to speak about it."

Anurag eyes widened slightly before they turned low in guilt, he thought he was helping. But now it had gone haywire because of him.

He turned to leave but was stopped by Mihir.

"Tu sad hoke mat ja pls, it's not your fault. In fact you were only trying to help"

"Finally you realised that. Me, Maddy and Jay bhaiya will only want to help you Bhaiya, always."

He left before the conversation could extend. Mihir had heard the tinge of disappointment in his tone, and felt guilty.
He took a deep breath and promised himself to focus on this session, to accept the help his family had given so selflessly.

...

As Mihir walked out of the cabin, he felt extremely dizzy and sleepy.

He had talked about it all while fighting his own brain's defence mechanism.

Sonakshi had helped him through it. Addressing the trauma he saw in first person had triggered him.

Sonakshi had had to use several psychological tricks to help him stay in and not lose sanity.

He had blurted out everything, with feelings he had about it. With the internal turmoil he felt.

Mihir's defence had always protected him from this by making him sleepy. When he had been alone there was no one he could distract himself with, and so his brain had developed this.

Mihir stumbled as he reached the main exit, but was held by a gentle pair of hands.

Recognising the touch, Mihir leaned in and let it go.

Madhav held him firmly, not letting him fall. He took him inside the car and laid him on the backseat.

Anu was on the driving seat. Both he and Madhav were extremely guilty of their plan but were also happy that Mihir had taken their advice.

Madhav sat beside Mihir's sleeping figure.
He took Mihir's head and put it on his own lap gently, patting his head softly to give him better sleep.

As Anu drove off, Madhav gazed at the tear stains on Mihir's face. His fingers instinctively traced them as his heart ached.

He knew it was necessary for Mihir's healing, but no amount of logic could make him happy of his Dada's tears.

...

The drive home was filled with silence, comfortable and at the same time laced with guilt and worry.

When they reached, Anu and Madhav tried to take Mihir home without waking him up.

They failed as Mihir woke up alert, as both of them were wrapping each of his arm around their necks.

The two looked at each other as Mihir gently took his arms back and straightened himself.

He gave them a small smile and walked in.

Before anyone could talk to him about the session, Mihir locked himself in his room and when Madhav knocked, Mihir told him he had to work.

Madhav always knew not to interfere when Mihir was working, because it was confidential.

He respected his duty and stepped back.

...

Mihir rummaged through the shelves, finding something.

He groaned as he couldn't find the pictures.

He sat down to think and that's when the burner phone vibrated again.

"Hey SP, remember me? The agent you fear?"

There was a teary eyed symbol beneath it.

Mihir's gut twisted as he stood up after reading the message.

He knew exactly what this was about.

Mihir turned on his laptop and after opening a normal chrome site, he used a hidden encryption code to send over the request to access RAW.

Officers his rank had no need to take permission but this access thing was to maintain secrecy from even family.

He was given a code to decrypt after which he was given the access to the RAW data.

The reason why no hackers could reach these codes was because just before every decryption began, there was a retina scan that a person had to give.

Only after that a person was allowed to decrypt and reach the RAW portal.

Mihir quickly reached the year 2018.

This was the time frame when Mihir and Sanya had been on a covert mission in Kashmir, after Mihir had come back from Pakistan.

Mihir had been the surveillance officer with Sanya, who was the leader in their team of 5.

They had been tracking activities of a suspected rogue agent, Nalini Wadhwa.

After their hidden surveillance, they had found out that Nalini was sending over important country details to the CIA.

With all the evidence they were able to prove she was the traitor, but catching her had been a headache for them.
