Chapter 25: The Phone Drama

Mihir was eating his favourite sweet, though in a limited quantity, made by his mumma..

Madhav was recording him secretly as Mihir dramatically put his hand to his heart and closed his eyes:"Kya khaana hai, ab toh zindagi mein aur kuch nahi chahiye...this is delicious, truly mouth watering... I'm drooling over this sweet.."

He slurped for special effects, making Madhav chuckle from behind the camera..Mihir looked at him and noticed the camera, and poked his tongue out...

Meera was silently glaring at the dramatic duo..she never knew her elder son was such a drama queen...

Jay had just come home from hospital and after changing, as he came to the table, he saw the sweet..

He couldn't resist and snatched the bowl from Mihir's hand, devouring the delicacy..

Mihir felt offended and snatched it back, Jay tried to take it back..

Meera slid the other bowl near Jay, who saw it and left Mihir's bowl..

He flashed a smile towards her and was about to have it, when Mihir snatched it too..

Jay glared at him, Mihir smirked wiggling his eyebrows, teasing him..

Madhav sneakily snatched the second bowl from Mihir's hands, and hid it..

He stood up quickly and handed it to Jay, who thanked him dramatically..

Mihir put his head down on the table, gasping dramatically:"Mera Bhai Mera na raha, bade Bhai ka ho gaya.."

Jay spoke after gulping the bite:"Vo mera hi tha, tu nikal.."

Madhav nodded devilishly and hugged Jay from behind..

Mihir huffed in fake anger, leading to an outburst of laughter on the table...

They heard Anu whining from the staircase and looked up..

Anu came there offended:"Mujhe bhul Gaye aap log? You guys are unfair.."

Madhav left Jay and wrapped his arm around Anu's shoulder:"We know we're unfair Anurag, kuch Naya bata.."

Mihir smiled and completed his sweet, ignoring Anu's glares..

Jay laughed as Anu glared at him, he stood up and pulled his cheek:"Tu glare mat Kiya kar, mujhe bahot hasi aati hai"

Anu whined as they laughed, and Mihir and Madhav looked at each other with a wide smile, noticing the uncanny resemblance of their conversations..

Mihir stood up and tried to feed Madhav a bite of the sweet, who shook his head and ran away..

Mihir chased him with the cup, while Jay casually fed Anu a bite, who passed a wide smile towards Meera, hugging her gently:"This is so tasty aunty, loved it..."

Meera raised her eyebrow, and Jay whacked him:"Mumma bula le.."

Anu rubbed his head and clicked his tongue:"Ok maataji..happy?"

Meera patted his head lovingly..

They looked up as they heard Mihir shout:"Kanha ruk ja, ek bite toh khaale.."

Madhav shouted back:"You know I'm on diet.."

Mihir:"Bhaad mein jaaye Tera diet, chup chap kha"

Madhav hid behind the pillar but Mihir reached there, Madhav ran to the sofas and Mihir came on the front side of the sofa facing Madhav..

Mihir:"Abey ek bite se nahi ful jayega tu..itne abs toh hai, ab kya 10 karne hai?"

Madhav glared at him, and using it as a boon, Mihir held him by his hand, not letting him go..
