*The next day*
The rest of the group except for seungkwan gathered at Seungcheol's house and we're talking together.
" We should go to the hospital and check on Kwan. He should be done with the surgery by now"
Jeonghan suddenly spoke up. Seungcheol and jisoo almost immediately glanced at Vernon who just nodded.
" He probably is by now. Let's go"
The group got ready and drove to the hospital. As soon as the entered, hoshi lead the way for them. He walked up to the counter.
" Hello. How many I help you?"
" Hi. We're here for a patient. His name is Boo seungkwan "
"One moment" the lady spoke. She started going through the names on the list and after a moment,
" I'm sorry but there's no one by gat name in this hospital at the moment "
"Could you check again?" Vernon asked, worriedly. The lady rechecked and still shook her head as a no, indicating that seungkwan was indeed not at the hospital at that moment.
"Maybe he already left?" Joshua suggested and the others agreed.
"Vernon. Go and check your house and his. He maybe there" s.coup's suggested to which Vernon nodded.
The group separated. Vernon, s.coups and dokyeom went to check Vernon's house while jisoo, jeonghan and hoshi checked seungkwan's house and the others checked his usual places like the coffee shop and the mall which were his 2 favourite places to go to.
After 2 hours, the team met up at a restaurant to talk. No words needed to be said by any of them to indicate that no one found any information about seungkwan whereabouts.
"Vernon. We're sorry. Look we can go back and search again. Maybe we missed something?" Mingyu spoke up ,noticing how upset Vernon was.
Vernon gave him a smile. " The thought is nice but honestly speaking I don't think Kwan wants to be found"
" What do you mean?" Jeonghan spoke up, the others also eager to know why Vernon said something like that. Vernon sighed before reaching into his pocket and pulling out seungkwan's phone and a letter. He passed the letter to jisoo who opened it and read it out loud for everyone.
*The letter*
Dear Vernon,
By the time your reading this I probably will not be there.
I'm sorry. I couldn't do it. I went up to the front door but I couldn't bring my self to go inside.
Please don't come after me or try to find me. I'm giving up. I tried to stay strong for you but I can't do it. Tell our members that I'm sorry and tell our fans the truth about what happened.
I want to ask you for a favour. I'm not going to be around for long so please try to be happy without me. I know it will be hard but I can only be happy if your happy Vernon.
