Before dusk outspreads its enormous wings upon the sky, the ship anchors at the harbor of Scotland, where the royal carriage has been arranged for the King, alongside another carriage for the prince. After deserting the deck and clambering to the respective carriages, the parade escorts the royals back to the castle. They reach the palace after night falls and despite the delay of their journey, the torches are blazed around the kingdom in welcome to the king.

Where the carriages halt, the queen of Scotland stands with a distressful expression—accompanied by her servants and her parents. From afar, Seokjin witnesses them and grumbles to himself, loathing the discussion that would hence proceed with questions when he gets to meet his parents again. He doesn't want to be questioned right after a long journey, but he knows he will be forced to. With the alarm preoccupying his mind, he closes his eyes briefly and savors the breeze flowing through the windowless openings. But soon his carriage comes to a stop and his eyes fly open when he hears his mother's moans. "Oh, my sweet primrose!*Quod factum est!!"

(*What happened!!!")

Seokjin groans to himself and rises from the position he was laid to meet the frantic eyes of his mother and father interfering his serene sleep. Yet, he forces a smile and peers off the carriage when the door opens. "I'm alright, mother. Glad to see you both again." He mutters, thanking Jungkook under his breath who assist him to his feet. His eyes glide through the crowd in search for the king and finds him nearby, being supported towards the stairs with his sister beside him, holding by his waist and chest and voicing out something he doesn't hear. The effect of what he witnessed leaves a sour feeling in his mind as he tears his eyes from the scene in order to meet the worried glances of his parents who support him towards the doors.

"Oh, dear, we returned right back here after prince Taehyung's letter. What on heavens happened to you? Oh, why did you accompany the king when there were muggers everywhere? Something would have happened to you, my son! Gods, something horrible would have happened to you!!"

"I'm fine, mother." Seokjin heaves a sigh, suppressing the click of his tongue at the exaggerating hysteria of his mother in contrast to his father, who aids him to walk without a single word, although Seokjin does know he is distressed as much as her. "We were on a hike, mother. You cannot blame the king of course."

The former Queen of Rome turns to give his son a pointed look, which is enough for Seokjin to lower his head in defeat. "Nol nunc regem defendere! It was foolish of him to have chosen you for this irresponsible journey!"

(*Do not try to defend the king now. )

"Mother, he didn't know—"

"I do not mind!" She whispers frantically, glaring at Namjoon who walks few feet ahead amidst the support and guidance of everyone. "*sic te Namjoon servasset, si te fratrem putaret. Quid faceret si princeps Taehyung? Hoc detrimentum in se cadere non permisit. O cara, sapiebamus  filiam nostrum huic inofficioso homini filiam nostram dare? "
