"So you gave them the fruit?" he smirks as his form completely changed to his original form the young girl says "should we explain what that food will do to them?" looking up the mountain to your home the man smiles "I think they have guessed some of it".

The girl sighs and says "it will be nice to have someone to communicate with again" the man smiles and nods "it will amd they are polite and respectful of the old ways" the girl giggles "he came down in the winter and took the snow off the roof of all the houses. Also checked for any damage and fixed the walls".

Looking at the girl the man smiled "he has also left offerings at my gate" the girl looks at him and smirks "oh, finally thinking about a spouse?" clearing his throat he looks away as the girl giggles, "he will be able to see all of us soon. He waves to us now but you can tell he doesn't actually see us".

The man nods "I think he saw my form change, so we will see if he still intends to interact with me" the man and girl are handed sake, thanking them he takes a sip "I noticed they have planted rice" the girl nods "a gift from the village to him" tipping his head he leans back and enjoys watching the village become lively once more.

As you finished the fruit you sigh and make jam from the others, and add some of the fruit to make wine, as the night draws on you look at horse and wolf "I have decided to interact more, they seem to be making the first move to make contact" receiving a noise then "good idea, smell nice" you look at wolf "can I hear you wolf?" getting a nod and a growl.

Looking down at your body "they are doing something to me. It doesn't seem to be harmful in anyway, so I will allow it" horse nods you yawn big and crawl in to bed "I will see you I the morning" they nuzzle you as you fall asleep, your body shines a bit brighter as you sleep.

The shine can be seen in the village they all stop and stare up at your house then look to the man as he smirks "it was only a few fruits, they are still human and will be for a while. They have just stopped ageing as quickly" sighing the girl just looks at him.

Waking in the morning feeling sluggish but not as achey, years on the battlefield and in bad weather had not been kind to your body, but you felt younger this morning, making some breakfast you open all doors and windows, then taking the bedding out to air it.

Doing the washing and hanging it out, walking around the place then looking down to the village you see a few transparent forms moving about and sigh "so that's it" going in and milking the cow they brought from the city, and making some butter and cheese.

That done you go and find some vegetables, fruit, nuts and more firewood smiling at the tori gates and bowing leaving a few nuts and fruits you picked up, back home you prepare and lay them out to dry, then calling out "Buddy, I am going to town I want to sell the bigger cart and buy a smaller one".

He comes back and you hitch the bull and saddle him, mounting you go down to the village stopping "is there anything you want in town?" the form stops and looks at you as you smile back looking straight at them, they smile and shake their heads, tipping your head you leave.

Riding into town you go to the intermediary, walking in "hello, I want a smaller cart and I was wondering if you would buy my larger one?" he comes out and looks at the cart "this is very nice, why are you selling?" laughing "I have two this size and it's only me, so I want a smaller one for when I go into the woods".

He nods giving you a price, you haggle a bit then accept and take the price of a smaller cart off the payment, thanking him and hitching the bull to the new cart going and buying some barrels of alcohol and some spices.

Checking around town you look but don't see anything you want or need, leaving town you do your usual and stop at places along the way to harvest from the forest, rivers and the roadside, taking your time to go back as you reach the village you leave some spices at the shrine and light the incense.

As you turn to leave you ask "does the gentleman enjoy alcohol? I have a small barrel as an offering" hearing a small "he loves it" you smile and bow "I have milk, butter and cheese. If you wish for some please send someone up" leaving you lead the bull back up the mountain path to your home, unloading most of the things you go directly into the woods.

Reaching the tori gate you place the small barrel of alcohol at the entrance and continue to collect from the forest around you, just about to leave when you see wolf and he is dragging a large animal behind him, going over you ask "want a hand boy?" he growls "yes please" you place the body on the cart and the three of you go back down home.

Looking at the animal you say "hum, I can use the fleece from this. Well done wolf, of you see more I want to at least shear them" he howls as you chuckle, getting back you shear the sheep then prepare the meat "you want the insides and a leg again?" a deep yip you laugh.

Placing the inwards in a tub along with a leg then butchering the sheep you leave a large piece of meat to one side and finish preparing the rest and sorting food for tonight, finishing off you hear a knock at the gate going over you see a transparent form "did you want the dairy products?" they nod and you say "just a second".
