Rushing into the house you collect the butter, cheese and milk coming out you also pass them the large piece of lamb "this is all for you. I would ask for some furs for winter if you can get some. I would like to barter with you" they grin and nod rapidly.

Taking the items they rush off down the mountain path, turning back you unload the rest of the cart and free the bull and taking the cart back in then bringing out all the leather and cleaning it all, lastly for today you weed the fields and your little garden.

Checking the sky you groan and collecting some eggs and leaving the fertilised ones, taking them in and placing them down the cellar seeing how many you have you sigh and preserve some of the older ones.

Washing the fleece and preparing it, you will use it for the bedding and clothing for winter what you had was nice but it did get very cold up here in the winter, wolf and horse didn't come back this night so eating the lamb you had cooked earlier you sit by the fire and wonder if you should learn to weave.

Hearing the noise from the village you start to feel a bit lonely, shaking it off and sitting by the fire with a drink and some snacks. Having left the gate unlocked but closed, you potter about the house feeling tired you pull out your futon and go to bed.

Wolf and horse were down in the village running around with everyone, the man comes down the mountain and sits once again on the shrine steps, he looks and says "that is a war horse, is it not?" the girl smiles "yes, I believe he was a well respected soldier" the man frowns "not that I complaining but how did they end up here?".

The girl laughs "no idea, the horse refused to tell us. He only said that they were given a home and tittle for his efforts in the war for the throne" the man nods and hands the girl a cup saying "this was the latest offering" she giggles "he did ask of you enjoyed alcohol" the man leans back and is handed a plate of food.

Taking a bite he grins "so much love and energy put into this" the girl chuckles and eats hers, then stops and smiles "yes alot of love and energy. They must enjoy living this life" they ate and drank the night away, "he wishes for some furs for winter and would like to barter with us" the man grins and chuckles.

He takes a sip and says "so we can move forward with our interactions now? Good" she snickers wolf comes and sits beside them and grins at them and cuddles in the girl chuckles and hugs back and the man sighs and gives him pats.

You go to bed and tonight's dreams are full of old memories of your previous time living this life, waking up sweating and breathing heavy "fuck, I am so glad I changed it this time" putting the bed away and having a wash you open the doors ready to start the day.

Opening the gates you see some large and unusual furs, blinking then smiling and taking them inside "thank you please let me know what you would like for payment" taking them inside you place them in the spare room ready for winter.

Pulling all the furniture out you grab the cleaner and some water and scrub the house from top to bottom, then outside you clean and wax the furniture, while the inside drys you go and weed the fields, as you go to the rice fields you see a few containers of rice seedlings.

Laughing you strip off and clean two more fields, then begin to plant the seedlings still chuckling, stopping to have a break you groan and walk to the edge and get out as you do you see a jug, smiling "thank you" you take a swig of the water and groan in relief the weather was warm today.

Getting back to work after a small break, the fields planted you weed your fields, noticing fish in the field a small smirk leaves you finished and stretching you empty the jug and get dressed again, "I will leave the jug here. Thank you very much" leaving and collecting a few things on the way home.

Arriving back you see horse and wolf raising a brow "so did you two have fun last night?" a whinny and "yes, fun" you laugh and pat them both as you take the harvest back and prepare it, the furniture comes back in and placed back in position.

Starting the stove you get the food on for tonight, siting outside and enjoying the evening air your sat on the outside bench sipping a cup of sake when the man walks up the mountain and stands outside your gates.

Smiling you say "you can come in" he grins and walks in taking a seat next to you, handing over a cup he helps himself you say "so my name is Shino, and what should I call you?" he jerked and smiled "please call me Kenoko" smirking you bow to him.

He eyes you then asks "are you not worried about what I am?" blinking you smirk and look at him "why? You planning on hurting me?" he shakes his head rapidly with a look of horror, you snicker "none of you have done anything to harm me, so I would like a friendly relationship with you all" he smiles and raises his cup "should we drink to that?".

Raising your cup and clinking with his "to friendship" he adds "or more" with a wink as you blush a little and smirk "maybe" he grins wide "you are always welcome to join us in the village. We had to wait until you were more acclimatised to us" tipping your head "I will soon, I want to be able to see the others as corporal first" he tips his head and gets up.

Waving he walks down the mountain path towards the village, you wave back and watch as his form transforms into that of a Kitsune, your breath hitches and you silently moan.
