Have I met you Before? || D.M.

𝐻𝑜𝑢𝑠𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝐵𝑙𝑎𝑐𝑘

I woke up to a knocking sound, someone stood outside banging at my door. I groaned as I got out of bed walking towards the noise. I opened it as I saw uncle Reggie. He smiled as he saw me opening. "Well goodmorning princess, slept well?" He asked just smiling at me. "Goodmorning, yes I slept quite well you?" I answered "Me too kind you asked. Oh and fancy in some breakfast?" He asked smiling with his puppy eyes. I knew that look, he needed to tell me something. It was something he dreaded to tell me, so I said yes. He smiled gratefully at me and held the door open so I could walk through. Uncle Reggie was always sweet to me, maybe because I was his only niece... We walked in the dining room as I saw uncle Moony already sitting in his chair. "Ah goodmorning Estella" He said as he looked up from the newspaper that was in his hands. uncle Reggie was the sweet, protective, fun making and nickname calling uncle, while uncle Moony couldn't let me go, was too scared something would happen to me or if I wasn't home for more then 5 minutes then I should be than he would pressume I was dead. He was sweet too just not always the nickname calling, of course it didn't matter to me they were both my uncles. I loved them both equally. I joined uncle Moony at the table as uncle Reggie waved his wand so breakfast was floating towards the table. When everything was on the table uncle Reggie also took a seat. "So what did you want to talk about?" I asked uncle Reggie, he sighed and uncle Moony looked up from the newspaper to look from uncle Reggie to me. Uncle Moony started to speak: "We wanted to ask you if you wanted to go to Hogwarts with me?" He asked. I sat there as the words sunk in, did i wanted to go to Hogwarts? But what about Durmstrang and all my friends there? I couldn't just leave them without telling something. "What are you going to do at Hogwarts if I may ask?" I asked uncle Moony not sure what he exactly meant. "Dumbledore asked me if I could teach at Hogwarts and I said yes, please Estella we know it's hard for you but if you're coming with me then I know better if you're safe." He begged, I sighed "Okay but don't expect me to only be with you" I said, I didn't want to have any rules attached to it "But how do I get in exactly?" I asked "Why do you think we asked you if Dumbledore didn't already have sent a letter?" uncle Reggie laughed "If you excuse me I think I'm going back to my room." I announced, I still didn't knew if it was the best choice. I saw the confused looks from them. I walked back to my room opening the door, closing and locking it behind my back. I took out some parchment and a quill with inkt out of my drawer. I sat down at my desk as I began to write a letter to my friends:

Dear June and Xavier,                                                                                                                                                  

How are you guys? I'm afraid I have to tell you that I won't be coming back to Durmstrang. My uncle got a job at Hogwarts and I have to go with him. I love you guys with my whole heart. You three were my first friends, welcomed me when I walked in the halls of Durmstrang. I Learned much with and from you three. Please let Sophie read this too. I miss you already. I have been lucky to meet you guys. You helped me through thick and thin. But now it's time to say goodbye, I'm sorry it is in a letter but I'm afraid we won't see each other for a while. Maybe we can meet up sometimes except this summer, I'm quite busy.

I put the letter into an envelope and sealed it. I walked towards my owl Athena. Her fur is black with some white feathers and grey dots on her wings. I got her for my 5th birthday from uncle Moony. I watched as I saw Athena flying away and when I didn't see her anymore I got a book and went to read on my bed. When I came out of my room I didn't see both of my uncles. They were gone? I walked towards the living room when I heard people talking. I walked in and saw my uncles, they were talking to eachother. How stupid I didn't look here earlier. "Hello princess" Uncle Reggie said as he saw me sitting in a chair, uncle Moony looked at me "Ah hello Estella" he said. I looked at them as I smiled "Hello, if you excuse me I'm going to read." I said as I began to read the pages of my book Hamlet by William Shakespear. I got out of my reading trance as someone tapped me on my shoulder. It was uncle Reggie "Princess? Dinner is ready, you read about two hours!" He said "Oh I'm coming" I said as I stood up, closed my book and walked to the dining room with him. We ate dinner, it was delicious! After dinner I got ready for bed because I was really tired. I got in bed and pulled the covers over my shoulders. After some time of thinking I finally fell asleep, dreaming about the new start at Hogwarts.

(A/N): first chapter! And Regulus is aliveeee. I liked him so much I HAD to include him in the book. I hope you like it, sorry it's so short tho I will try writing longer chapters. Leave comments behind. Everything will help, maybe even some ideas for the next chapters. I already have some things in mind...

I also have a question: How many words do you say is a long chapter?
