The trio of girls had eventually stumbled their way back to Elisa's apartment where they promptly tripped over all the empty bottles that had been left scattered around from their pre-drinks party. Mila had helped Elisa into bed and had left a glass of water on her bedside cabinet for when she ultimately woke in the middle of the night feeling like she had been hit by a double decker bus.
Meg had collapsed on the couch, a trail of drool pooling on the cushions next to her. It was times like these that made Mila wonder just how her friend managed to be so poised and sexy in front of a camera. Meg was the perfect blend of chaos and charm.
Mila had spent the next thirty minutes after settling Meg and Elisa down, standing in the kitchen wondering about what had happened at the club. It was a surreal experience. She didn't know whether to be flattered or offended. On one hand a literal god had just flirted with her, on the other she had known him since she was twelve and he hadn't remembered her.
Mila's glass of water had long since warmed from Elisa's overheated apartment when she decided to make room for herself on the couch. The girl's electricity bill must have been through the roof with how hot her apartment always was.
Meg's snoring was slightly off-putting as she tried to fall asleep. Her alcohol-addled mind was spinning as she closed her eyes, attempting to ignore the flash of purple eyes that crossed her vision as sleep finally claimed her.

"So are you going?" Meg questioned as Elisa rifled through her freezer, looking for the cartons of ice cream she was insistent were in there.
"What do you mean, am I going? Of course I'm not going." Mila replied, shoving at Meg's shoulder. "The guy is like over twice my age." Definitely over, more like a couple millennia over twice her age.
"Didn't look like it. He didn't look more than like 40." Meg pushed back at her, grabbing the ice cream carton that Elisa pushed into her hand after having finally found them.
Mila laughed, "First of all, I'm 25, 40 is way too old. And secondly, his looks are deceptive. That is an old man." She grabbed the ice cream away from Meg who tried to reach for it in protest.
"Then get that bag, babes. Old men who hit on young women are always loaded, and did you see that shirt, it looked like genuine satin. Expensive . . ." Meg wiggled her eyebrows at her, pointing her spoon in Mila's direction.
"Ooh fancy." Elisa yelled from the kitchen where she was still searching for the final missing ice cream carton. "Date the guy, wait for him to die and boom you're rich. Simple." An "aha!" came from the short blonde as she resurfaced from the freezer with the final ice cream carton clutched triumphantly in her hands
"We'd never get to the dating stage. This guy is a serial fucker. He has like 20 kids." She took a bite of her ice cream, "All with different mums."
Meg raised her eyebrows at that, "And that is why I don't date men." She muttered under her breath.
"You don't date men because you think women are hot." Mila snapped as Elisa fell into the couch beside Meg, causing her to bounce up and almost drop her spoon.
"That's because women are hot." Meg replied, leaning over to scoop up some of the ice cream that Mila was currently holding.
"Amen to that!" Elisa managed to get out with a full mouth of chocolate ice cream. The other two laughed at her.
"But still, like what's the harm?" Meg questioned, "Have a bit of fun, let loose, live out all those older men fantasies of yours I'm sure you have and then leave him to the dust."
Mila took another mouthful of ice cream, "I suppose..."
"We'll go shopping! Get you a killer dress." Elisa chimed in.

Mila did not like shopping. That was one thing that she knew for certain. Her sisters had always attempted to drag her into shops when she was younger and she would petulantly dig her heels into the ground like a child. She liked clothes and all the other things that she was sure Meg and Elisa were going to force her to buy, she just didn't like the act of shopping. It was draining and could have just as easily been done online.
"Ooh, what about this one?" Elisa held up a deep red dress with a slit so long that she would have had to stand still in it all night if she didn't want to flash anyone.
"I have decency, Elisa. I'm not going out with everything on display for the unwitting people of London." Elisa put the dress back and continued searching, shrugging at Mila's response.
"I thought we were on the attack offensive? You know fuck them and book them." She sifted through more of the dresses, pulling out a few that immediately got shot down by either Mila or Meg, "You aint gonna fuck him if you don't seduce him."
"I don't think he needs seducing, Elisa." Meg called from the other side of the shop where she was rifling through the more expensive dresses that were definitely out of Mila's price range.
Elisa hummed in response, picking out another dress that Mila immediately put back on the rack. Did she think Mila wanted to become a stripper?
"Mila! What about this one?" Meg pulled a deep purple dress off the rack, it was floor length and dipped in the front. It wasn't too revealing but still looked sexy.
She grabbed it off of Meg and practically ran into the changing room. It slipped on like it was made for her, gliding over her skin and clinging to the curves of her body. It was perfect. She couldn't imagine leaving the shop without it. But she had seen where Meg had found it, it was going to be expensive. It was very possibly out of her budget.
"Well? Come on out and show us, babes!" Elisa called from behind the curtain. She was nervous to leave, when she left she would have to put it back, there was no way she was going to be able to afford it.
She walked out to gasps from her friends, "Oh. My. God. That is the dress. You have to get it." Elisa bounced in her seat with excitement.
"If I can afford it." Mila muttered, receiving a frown from Meg.
Mila slowly returned to the changing cubicle, stripping off the dress and replacing it on the hanger. She looked at the tag, but the price was smeared on it. She would have to take it to the counter to find out how much it was.
The wait at the counter wasn't long and soon, she was handing the dress over to the attendant who scanned it, the price coming up as well over £200. That was out of budget. She couldn't afford it, if she was going to be paying for whatever drinks she had tonight.
The screen froze, glitching for a second before returning to normal. The attendant looked at it confusedly for a second before turning back to Mila, "It looks like it's just gone on sale."
Meg and Elisa looked between each other before looking at Mila, "How much is it now?" She asked.
"Uhm, £50." That was one hell of a sale, it was almost too good to be true. She quickly paid for it before leaving, hoping that the computer didn't glitch as she paid.
"Wow, that was some luck." Elisa commented.
"Yeah, I must have great luck today." She replied, looking at the bag that contained the discounted dress. She looked upwards where clouds were starting to form overhead and muttered a quick, "thanks mum."
