I smiled, feeling a bit more at ease. "Nice to meet y'all."

"True dat," Mazi added, nodding. "Him neva stop talk 'bout yuh."

I felt my cheeks warm at their words, glancing at Romeo, who was now smirking. "Mi nah shut up 'bout yuh cause yuh worth it," he said, wrapping an arm around me.

We all settled into the living room, the atmosphere relaxed and filled with camaraderie. The guys continued to share stories about their adventures growing up with Romeo, their laughter infectious.

"Remember di time when Romeo decide fi climb di neighbour mango tree?" Mar said, laughing. "Yuh nearly dead when yuh drop."

Romeo groaned. "Yuh know seh mi did a try fi impress di gyal dem."

Mazi snorted. "Impress? Yuh end up wid a broken arm."

We all burst into laughter, the easy banter making me feel even more comfortable around them. It was clear they had a lot of love and respect for each other, and I felt honored to be included in their circle.

As the evening went on, I decided to make dinner for everyone. "Mi mek some food fi y'all," I said, standing up and heading towards the kitchen.

"Babes, yuh sure yuh wanna do dat?" Romeo asked, following me.

"Of course, mi want fi mek sure yuh friends feel welcome," I replied with a smile.

Romeo kissed my cheek. "Okay baby."

I got to work, pulling out ingredients and getting everything ready. Romeo stayed by my side, helping me with the prep work. Soon, the smell of cooking filled the apartment, drawing curious looks from Mar and Mazi.

"Wha ya cook?" Mar asked, peeking into the kitchen.

"Mi mek some fry chicken, rice and peas, and steamed vegetables," I replied, stirring the pot.

Mazi's eyes widened. "Dat smell good, sis."

Romeo grinned. "Wait till yuh try it. She di best cook."

"Afta yuh been a eat out ih fry chicken," I stated glaring at him

Once everything was ready, I set the table, and we all sat down to eat. Mar took a bite of the jerk chicken and his eyes lit up. "Yo, yuh fuck it up sis,"

Mazi nodded in agreement, his mouth full. "Best meal mi have inna long time. Respect."

Romeo glared at them, "Unno hurry up ah eat and lef me house. Unno deh tek up space."
