I sighed, adjusting my earpiece. "Jesus, it's cold out here. Should I grab some sweet spicy chicken and Kalguksu on my way back?" I mumbled, more to myself than to Yesha on the other end of the line.

Her laugh crackled through the earpiece, a welcome sound amidst the chill.

🎧 "Oh yeah, I was craving chicken earlier. Bring some Soju too."

"Soju? Isn't it too early for Soju?" I asked, glancing around to ensure no one was watching from the adjacent rooftops or the streets below.

🎧 "It's a cold weather,"

she replied with a hint of a smile in her voice.

🎧 "Besides, we earned extra from the last delivery you did at the Choi's."

"Damn, you have to remind me....Damn bastard kicked me in the balls," I muttered, still peering through the scope, watching the bustling street below. I could still feel the ghost of that pain, an unwanted souvenir from my last job.

This is our reality. Luce De Fiori isn't just a quaint little shop of delicate flowers. Yesha, Lucas, and I founded Luce De Fiori for a clandestine purpose. On the surface, it's a haven of vibrant blooms and intoxicating fragrances, a place where people come to buy flowers for every occasion. But beneath this facade, it's the nerve center for our operations - a perfect cover for our true profession.

I met Yesha and Lucas back in Singapore. At that time, I was just a low-paying hitman, barely scraping by in the shadows of the city's gleaming skyline. Yesha, with her sharp mind and tech skills, and Lucas, with his strategic brilliance and military background, were a natural fit. We crossed paths on a job gone awry and, recognizing each other's talents, decided to pool our resources and ambitions.

Together, we formed something more substantial, something that would give us more control and better pay. We set up Luce De Fiori in Seoul, far from our initial hunting grounds, to create a new life and a more secure base of operations. It's a delicate balance, living these dual lives, but it's what we chose and what keeps us together.

Now, here I am, on a rooftop in Seoul, my breath visible in the cold air as I wait for the next move. The sun is high, casting long shadows over the bustling streets. People below go about their daily lives, blissfully unaware of the silent watcher above.

🎧 "Yeah, well, at least it paid well," Yesha continued, her tone light despite the grim subject.

🎧 "You still got the target in the end, and now we can afford a little luxury."

I adjusted my position slightly, feeling the cold metal of the sniper rifle against my cheek as I settled back into my vigil. "Luxury, huh? I guess that's one way to look at it."

🎧 "Always look on the bright side," she said cheerily.

🎧 "Besides, this job will be over soon. Just a few more hours of freezing your ass off."

I chuckled despite myself. "Yeah, yeah. It's easy for you to say from the comfort of that cozy little computer of yours... "

She laughed again.
