Chaper 9

As Jeno is walking Jaemin home Jeno decides to hold Jaemins hand. "Is this okay"? He asks. Jaemin smiles a little and shakes his head yes.

"You know, you're so naive." Jeno states. "What do you mean?" The boy says confused. Jeno just shakes his head. "No reason it was just an observation."

Jaemin looks at the man confused but doesn't question it. They finally reach Jaemins house. "Hey you wanna come in and have a drink of water or something?" Jaemin asks.

Jeno smirks. "Sure." They both walk into the house. Jeno sits down at the dining table while Jaemin grabs two waters.

"I wasn't expecting you to invite me inside. Kinda surprising." Jeno huffs out. "Why surprising?" Jaemin asks.

Jeno shrugs. "Because I thought you were scared of me." Jaemin nervously laughs. "I was never scared of you." Jeno lets out an evil laugh. "Oh yeah?" He stands up heads to the kitchen and grabs a knife. Jaemin gulps nervously.

Jeno walks over to Jaemin and sets the knife on the table. "You scared of me now?" Jaemin shakes his head no slowly. Jeno chuckles lowly. He picks up the knife and slides it up Jaemins arm. "How about now."

Jaemin starts to shake. "A little." He says as his breath hitches. Jeno sets the knife back down. "I know sweetheart, I just wanted to hear you say it."

Suddenly they hear a big crash on the back door. Jaemin jumped up. "What the fuck was that?" Jaemin says scared. "Stay here I'll check it out." Jeno says.

Jaemin sees Jeno walk to the back door as he stays in the kitchen. Jaemin waited a couple of minutes but heard nothing. "Jeno? Are you okay." He yells out.

He waits for a response but still hears nothing. Jaemin then heard another big crash and heard a scream. "Jeno!" Jaemin screamed.

Jaemin then sees Jeno appear from the hall way. He saw Jeno holding his side. "Jaemin run he's coming!" Jaemin heard Jeno yell.

Jaemin stood there for a minute but he couldn't move due to being in shock. He then saw what hurt Jeno. From the hall way he sees the Ghostface costume.

He yelled loud then started running up the stairs. Jaemin sprinted to his bedroom then closed the door and locked it. He started to cry thinking if Jeno is alright or not?

While crying Jaemin took his phone and dialed 911. "911 what's your emergency?"
"There's someone in a Ghostface costume in my house. He stabbed my friend." Jaemin cries out.

"Do you know where Ghostface is located?" The women asked. "No no I don't he ran after me but I ran to my bedroom and locked the door."
"Okay what's your address and we'll have a police car there soon."

Jaemin continued to cry. "My address is 1234 west maple drive. Please hurry." "We'll have some one out there as soon as possible." With that the line was disconnected.

All of the sudden Jaemin hears banging on the door and jingling of the door nob. "Go away! I already called the cops!" Jaemin yelled. The banging continues to happen. He starts to get more scared, he doesn't know what to do.

"Jaemin it's me Jeno." He hears from the other side. "How do I know it's really Jeno?" Jaemin questions. "Open the god damn door!" He heard followed up with a loud bang on the door. Jaemin jumped up from being scared.

"I mean of course it's me Jaemin just please open up. I saw Ghostface leave from the back door." Jaemin then slowly walked over to the door and nervously unlocked it. When he opened up he takes a big breath.

He sees Jeno on the other side. "Ah I'm so glad it's you." Jaemin says relieved. He then looks down at Jenos shirt and sees he's bleeding a little. "Are you okay!? He stabbed you." Jaemin says worriedly.

Jeno winces. "He just cut me but I'm fine. You called the police?" He asks. "Yeah they should be on their way soon." Jaemin says as they both head back down stairs.

As they were about to sit down and wait they heard a knock on the door. "It's the police department we got a call from this resident." Jaemin heard them and opened the door.

"What seems to be the problem?" The officer asks. "Me and my friend were attacked by Ghostface and he's got a pretty bad cut." Jaemin says. "Alright we'll have an ambulance out here in a moment but before that we just need to take both your statements." Jaemin nods.

After taking both the boys statements the ambulance arrives. The men help Jeno into the truck. "That's a pretty big cut but we're just going to clean it up and patch you up then it should be good." Jeno nods and let the men help him.

The officer walks over to Jaemin again. "So we're going to be closing your house off as an official crime scene. We got ahold of your parents and seems that they are out of the country on business so they said to stay with a friend. You have a friends place to stay at?"

"Yes sir I do. Thank you." Jaemin says and the officer nods. He then sees Jeno walk over to him. "They said I'm okay. One of the police men are gonna drive me to Marks house." Jeno says. "I'm glad you're okay and I'm gonna head to Haechans since my parents are out of the country working."

Jaemin suddenly gives a kiss to Jenos cheek before he walks away. "Bye Jeno." "Bye Jaemin. I'll see you later."

The other police man decided to drive Jaemin to Haechans just for his safety. "Here you go. If you have any more problems just give us a call okay?" The officer tells him. "Yes thank you so much." Jaemin says as he gets out of the police car.

He already called Haechan an updated him on what happened and that he was going to be coming over. Jaemin then sees Haechan run out of his house towards him. "I'm so glad you're okay." Haechan says as he hugs Jaemin.

Jaemin hugs him back. "Me too. Jeno really saved my ass." "I'm surprised he survived." Haechan says. Jaemin just shrugs. "I guess he got lucky."

They both walk into the house. "Chan I think I'm gonna head to your room and take a nap if that's okay." Jaemin asks. "Of course go ahead." Haechan states.

Jaemin makes his way to Haechans bedroom. He puts on some pajama pants he left over at Haechans and gets into bed. Jaemin gets comfortable under the blankets and starts falling asleep.
