Psycho killer | Nomin

Chapter 2

Jaemin wakes up to his alarm and also a bunch of calls and texts.

He looks at the caller ID and reads *Haechan*.

"Good morning Haechan why did you-" Jaemin gets cut off by Haechan panicking over the phone.

"Jaem... there was another murder last night." Haechan says absolutely terrified. Jaemin is speechless not knowing what to say.

"It was sungchan." Jaemin drops his phone. He didnt consider him a friend but they were friendly.

Jaemin rushes to pick his phone back up. "Does it say how or when or why?" He spits out. Haechan sighs. "There's not any of it really just says it happened when he was on his way home from school."

"This is getting out of hand. I don't understand how the cops have no leads." Jaemin says. "There are some theories out there saying there could be more then one Ghostface working together and that's how they haven't gotten caught." Haechan says.

Jaemin doesn't know what say. "Anyways um.. I guess we need to get ready for school. I'll meet you at the spot?" "Of course." Haechan smiles.

They meet at the coffee shop. They've been going here since they were kids.

Jaemin walks over to a booth that has Chenle and Haechan in it. He plops down right in front of the cup that was placed on the table.

"Aw you guys already got me my coffee." Jaemin says in awe. "Yeah yeah whatever." Haechan rolls his eyes.

"We should get going to school before we are all late." Chenle says. They all grab their drinks and head out the door walking to school.

Walking down the halls all anyone is talking about is Sungchans death.

Jaemin walks up to his locker and opens it grabbing his books. "It's so eerie today." Chenle sulks. They all nod in agreement walking into class.

They all had 1st period together which was math. They take their seats as the final bell rings. The teacher sighs. "Im not gonna sit here and act like nothing happened. We lost another student. I can't stress enough to be safe. Never go out alone anymore it's not safe in this city no more." The teacher sat the whole class talking about safety procedures we should follow.

Jaemin looks around at the class. Some kids are listening others aren't paying attention and just gossiping amongst themselves.

"You guys should be ashamed of yourselves for not paying attention." Jaemin whisper shouts to the other students. They just kind of laugh at him and go back to talking.

The bell rings for lunch but Jaemin doesn't feel like eating today. He takes his camera to the garden he usually takes pictures at. He shoots a couple shots not really liking how they came out.

He suddenly sees someone on the side of the school building. Jaemins zooms in with his camera to see. He sees Jeno throw something black into the bushes. Jeno looks around to see if anyone was watching. Jaemin tries ducking down fast.

As he was trying to hide he feels someone walk up next to him. Jaemin peaks hoping it's not who he thinks it is. Of course luck is not on his side. "It's not polite to spy on people." Jeno says.

Jaemin struggles to stand up. "I was so not spying on you. I was just taking pictures of the flowers." He shows Jeno the pictures.

Jeno hums. "That's good it would've been bad if you were spying on me." Jaemin suddenly becomes scared.

He then hears a laugh coming from Jeno. "Im kidding Jaemin, lighten up a little." Jaemin whips his head to look a Jeno. "You know my name?" He questions.

"How could I not know the name of someone so pretty." Jeno speaks as he traces the light veins on Jaemins face with his finger.

Jaemin flinches back at his touch finding it a little weird. "Don't be so jumpy Jaemin. Did you think I was gonna hurt you?" Jeno says laughing.

He tries choking out a laugh. He watches as Jeno finally walks away back into the school. Jaemin finally lets go of a breath he feels like he was keeping in.

He walks back into school into the cafeteria. He sees his friends. As he's walking he makes eye contact with Jeno and see him sitting with Mark. Jaemin looks away fast and hurries to sit next to his friends.

"Jeno creeps me out so much." Jaemin pleads. Haechan looks at him like he's crazy. "He's like a puppy how could he creep anyone out."

"I don't know, he like blew up at a girl this morning for accidentally bumping into him." Chenle says. Which Jaemin finds weird cause he did the same thing but Jeno barely even spoke a sentence to him.

Haechan playfully hits Chenle. "Guy could just have anger issues." They all shrug.

All of the sudden Mark shows up at their table and sits down. "Hey Haechan I was wondering if you wanted to come to this party Im throwing tonight." He says smirking.

Haechan keeps stuttering out things that aren't words. Mark laughs. "Oh and you can bring your friends." He says winking at Haechan while getting up and walking back to his table.

Jaemin thought Haechan was gonna faint. "He just asked ME if I wanted to go to his party." He squeals. "Yeah yeah." Chenle says as he stuffs a roll in Haechans mouth.

Jaemin bursts out laughing at the scene. "Okay as soon as schools over we're all going to my house to get ready for tonight." Haechan says taking the roll out of his mouth.

"Do I have to go?" Jaemin groans. Chenle looked at him. "Of course you do your little crush will be there." "I do not have a crush on anyone." Jaemin huffs.

Chenle giggles. "Well you talk about Jeno ALOT I might add." Jaemin stands up. "That's cause he's creepy!" Jaemin yells as everybody looks at him. He looks around seeing everyone look at him and storms out of the cafeteria.

Jaemin runs into the bathroom. He's so embarrassed that he screamed in front of everyone. He hears the bathroom door open. The last person he wants to see. Jeno.

"Jaem I heard your big commotion in the cafe. You think I'm creepy? I hope that's in a hot way." Jeno states.

Jaemin puts himself in the corner and slides down the wall. "I-I don't think you're creepy I was talking about uh my neighbor." He stutters out.

Jeno lets out a cold laugh. "For someone so pretty you suck at lying." Jaemin becomes scared. "Why do you look so scared Jaem? I haven't even done anything." Jeno questions him.

He knows it's wrong but Jaemin actually finds him attractive but still creepy. Jeno just pats his head. "Anyways you're coming to the party tonight yeah?" Jeno says as again his whole demeanor changes to being friendly.

Jaemin shakes his head yes very fast. Jeno laughs a little at the boy. "Good I hope to see you there." He says as he leaves the bathroom.
