hello !! just want to jot a couple things down, just things you might want to know about this story!!

first, there are multiple sexual scenes in this book, and they cannot be skipped since they are important to the story. if you are uncomfortable, please dont read.

(p.s they will not be any warnings before the scenes)

secondly, there are multiple mentions of self harm and alcohol abuse, which might trigger people. and again, there is no warning.

the title is based off of the song "paper rings" by taylor swift, and yes, its a very happy song, which is probably not suitable for what this book will be, but a lot of things she describes in the song perfectly fit what jake and johnnie feel for each other in the book.

a lot of songs from the album "lover" (which is where i got paper rings from), are quite suitable songs such as, lover, daylight, afterglow, i forgot you existed, the archer, false god, london boy, and all the girls you loved before.

you obviously don't have to listen to them, i just suggest you do if you like taylor!!

i want to portray obvious hidden love between the two, and genuinely hope you like the story!!
