Simon Riley was sitting at the park alone and he was tired of his father's antics. His dad abuses him and he was always beaten up by his father and older brother.
Simon was smoking when he saw a man sit next to him. "Smokin's bad for ya, Boy," the man said. "Eh, who cares, it's to help me relieve stress," Simon said.
"Kid, who did this to ya?" he asked. "No one," Simon said. "I'm John Price," He said. "Simon," Simon said.
John Price could see the pain and fear in Simon's eyes.He knew that the young man needed help, and he was determined to be there for him. "Listen, Simon, you don't have to go through this alone. There are people who can help you," John said.
Simon hesitated, unsure of whether to trust this stranger. But something in John's eyes told him that he could be trusted. "I... I don't know what to do," Simon admitted.
John reached out a hand to Simon. "Let me help you, Simon. You deserve better than this. Let's get you out of this situation and find you the help you need," he said.
Simon looked at John, feeling a glimmer of hope for the first time in a long time.
He took John's hand, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. Maybe, just maybe, things could get better for him.
And with that, John and Simon walked out of the park together, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
John entered his flat, and Simon followed soon after with his duffle bag. "I got an extra for ya, Kid," John said. The next door neighbor; John Mactavish came by and saw Simon. "Dude!" John said hugging his best friend.
"A bheil thu ceart gu leòr?" John asked. "I'm okay, Johnny, just happy to be away from my dad," Simon said. "We got your back man," Johnny said.
Soon the two friends joined the special forces Soap was how John Mactavish got his call sign and Simon got Ghost as he wore a skull mask to hide his face.
