The Worst Day

It never gets better does it? I can't even walk home without causing trouble... I can still remember the feeling vividly.

(Flashback to when he was walking home)

"My jaw hurts... he hit me a lot harder today. He was really mad UA lifted the ban on the quirkless. I don't even know why he cares, it's not like i'd ever be able to get it anyway..." A soft sigh escapes his lips after he finishes muttering to himself. He was really getting fed up with Katsuki's attitude, all the things he says and does contradict everything Izuku knows a hero to be. Regardless, he still believed his old friend would become a good hero. I mean, he had everything Izuku didn't. That meant Katsuki wasn't useless like he was.

He was eventually snapped out of his thoughts by the voice of someone else. He turned around and was frightened by what he saw; A big green creature.. he looked like he was made entirely out of slime.

The creature quickly jumped at Izuku and captured him before he had time to react. Everything went by so fast, yet so slow at the same time. He felt the sludge reach his mouth and then go down his throat, the feeling burning as it went further down into his body. He couldn't breathe. His couldn't even see as his eyes filled with tears.

"It hurts.. It hurts so badly. Why is this happening to me? Do I deserve this? At least Kacchan will be happy in the end." Izuku couldn't help the thoughts that rushed through his mind. He just wanted all the bullies to leave him alone. He wanted someone to love him. Was that really too much to ask for?

He caught a glimpse of something through his teary eyes. He couldn't make out what it was exactly, but it looked like a man. An oddly tall one. Izuku ended up passing out due to lack of oxygen, but just before that, he realized he was flying through the air, but he doesn't really know how that happened.

Sometime after, he felt a hand on his face. Was someone trying to wake him up? He let his curiosity get the better of him and he opened his eyes, the sudden light causing him to squint. His throat burned harshly, one of his hands moving to grab his throat. He felt sick to his stomach. It all hurt, his entire body. He rolled over to where he was on his side, propped up a bit before he inevitably puked up some of the green slime onto the ground. He coughed after, his breathing heavy. The person he had forgoten was there, rubbed his back gently as if to reassure him everything would be all right.

Izuku had looked up to survey his surroundings, making sure he was in the clear. He noticed the villain who had attacked him was being held in what looked to be a couple of soda bottles? Odd. Izuku thought to himself. After he had calmed down his breathing, he payed more attention to the man in front of him, looking at the man only to realize it was All Might who had saved him, the number one hero. Izuku was shocked to say the least.

He suddenly felt guilty, as though he wasted the mans time and ended up muttering a horse sorry.  All Might ended up looking confused as to why the boy sprawled out in front of him had apologized. After momentary confusion, he finally spoke to the boy. "Are you alright? Why are you apologizing, young man?" His voice was booming, just like Izuku thought it would be.

"I-I'm fine..! Sorry to worry you, sir." Izuku spoke as cheerily as he could, mustering up enough strength to flash a smile at the hero. All Might seemed to buy it for the most part as the boy stood up and lowered his hands to grab his backpack to check if everything in it was alright. After his thorough check of his possessions, he put the bag on.

After this All Might had risen as well, towering over the boy. It was almost frightening in a way.

All Might started walking away, stating he needed to leave, but Izuku couldn't let him. This was a once in a lifetime chance and there was no way in hell he was letting it slip through his fingers.
