His Experiment

Chapter Seven

The house in question looked more like a hospital than a home.

It lacked life, and looked very modern. But it's guessed that was on par for a mad scientist. A house as crazy and scary as his mind.

The complex was huge, one main building in the middle with a smaller wing attached on each side. It was set up like a mansion but didn't quite have the rich grandeur of one.

They pulled up the long driveway and stopped in front of the house, where a few guards met them.

"Welcome back, master." They all bowed as Taehyung got out of the car. Taehyung bowed back while Jungkook just followed, weirded out at how formal this all was.

Oh well, I've seen weirder.

They all walked into the house together, Jungkook ignoring the smirk on Taehyung's face as they walked shoulder to shoulder to avoid the collar from yanking him.

"You are all dismissed, thank you," Taehyung claps as they enter a huge foyet, "Jungkook, I will show you to where you will be staying."

Taehyung clicked his tongue to beckon Jungkook up the winding staircase nearby. Jungkook just huffs and follows him. He accepts his fate and doesn't bother arguing with the crazy yet insanely attractive guy.

"Did you realize opposing me isn't worth the hassle? Or are you just naturally submissive?" Taehyung remarks as he leads the younger down the long hallway of doors.

"Oh, shut it. The collar is annoying enough without you nagging me. Isn't my submission what you wanted anyway?" Jungkook scoffs. He was grateful for this insane opportunity, but he didn't know he would have to put up with such attitude. He couldn't help but be snarky back.

This is going to be a long experience.

"You're so cute! And so smart! Of course that's what I want. I just think it's funny I didn't have to work harder for it. I was going to get your obedience no matter what, but I'm glad you give it up for me so easily." Taehyung smiles and hums as he finally stops at a door at the very end of the hallway. Jungkook silently fumes in anger.

He doesn't quite understand it himself. There is just something about the scientist and his personality that makes Jungkook not mind the craziness. He trusts him somehow, although cautiously.

"But, baby, you should be more careful. Not everyone around here can be trusted so easily. Feel free to be obedient to me, but I neither require nor encourage you to be this way to anyone else. I mean it. Do you understand me?" Jungkook looked up confusingly at the suddenly serious demeanor from the bubbly scientist. Taehyung was glaring intensely down at Jungkook to get his message across.

When Jungkook took too long to answer, Taehyung gripped the collar around his neck and bent down to be more face to face.

"I said, do you understand? You're mine only now. You aren't obligated to take orders from anyone other than me or someone I tell you to specifically."

"Y-Yes, sir." Jungkook got a bit nervous at the seriousness. He unfurrowed his brows and raised them instead. Authority made him scared (and a little turned on) sometimes.

"Good! Remember that." Taehyung straightened up and patted Jungkook's head with a smile. He opened the door in a flash while Jungkook stood there in shock at the change of attitude. What is with this guy?

What is he hiding?

"Anyway, this is where you will be sleeping most nights. It is all yours. You won't be bothered too much in your off hours, I predict. But you are free to do whatever you want basically as long as you get my work done." Jungkook finally follows Taehying into the room as he speaks.
