Non-Story Chapter: Details to Know Before Reading

This isn't a chapter but more of an explanation section to expect from this fanfic. Let's get started with the simple stuff
Storytelling Quality?
I'm gonna try to make this story at least entertaining as I can while avoiding making it cringe or uncomfortable to read but this is my first time writing a story so I'm very likely to making plenty of mistakes in my writing (likely Grammer and spelling mistakes) but the generally purpose of this fanfic us not only to make a tensura story to my liking but as make a story that could be fun for other tensura fans to read

Power Progression?
There's no speeding up in the power progression, so no early harvest festival, no instantly being born as a true dragon or born with ultimate skills, no demon lords and true dragons getting immediately humbled, no early manas. The power progression will be roughly the same as it is in the official series.

Crossover?
This isn't a crossover series, it purely tensura and only tensura magic and rules will be applied here, this is to make it easier for writing and to not drive away readers who may have not have seen or read the other series although there is plans to make plenty of references to multiple series, this isn't something that will get in the way of the story and is more of something giggle while writing and also a bit of a game for readings to find and point out the references as some will be more obscene than others.

OC?
Besides our protagonist, there won't really be any original character newly made specifically for this series, I know I already have a large cast to balance around already so I won't make more characters that'll likely have a maximum relevancy of 5 chapters, there'll be some stretches with the use of obscure or one-off characters from official tensura media (Spin-offs or OVAs)that will have extended or altered use throughout the story

Seems Familar?
The premise of this fanfic is heavily taking inspiration from another tensura fanfic "Twin Slime" or "Twin Slime Definitve" by Fallen_Michael, again I have no previous experience in writing so making my own version one of my favorite fanfics was the best I could. Of course it would be a disservice if I straight up steal entire stories, I'm gonna try my best to make this story unique in it's own way and again no intention of adding oc's so no Zenith and no world destroying Promordial sisters. I'll also be using other elements from other fanfics only when it will be relevant and complementary to the story

Relationships, Harem, Lemons 👀?
Official canon ships are set in stone, so no velgryndXrimuru because that front cover scroch dragon booty is for the light speed hero to slay only. Implied relationships are also set to be a thing here so carrionXfrey and guyXvelzard will be a thing so no rimuruXvelzard either. For harems, benimaru will be getting his, but for additional harems and relationships, I intend to set up over time through implication to then being confirmed, but I'm aware that lot of folks aren't too keen on harems, no need to worry about the harems getting in the way, I'm gonna try to set it to be more like the support convos in fire emblem, they'll be there as more of an extra to the overall narative instead of have the story revolving around the harems. N, w as for LEMONS... yeah no I'm a timid person who is doing there first time writing for fun, I ain't got what it takes to write horny sex scenes, and if I did it's gonna be highly cringe.

Visual?
I want to include my own art for the story instead of relying on ai art, luckily it is severely less need since I won't need to generate random character designs for oc's, I might add in a manga panel or light novel illustration at relevant scenes but I want to make some original artwork to give some character to this series although I'll warn you, I am NOT that good of an artist, the cover alone was difficult to make, so do expect do weird to wonky visuals especially in regards to perceptive angles and anatomy. Also is there a way to add in art or edit text after publishing the chapter?

4th Wall Breaking
Usually in tensura fanfics the characters might say or do something that might get the author to interact with them, that is not the case here. I'm not gonna suddenly talk to anybody nor are the characters are just gonna suddenly know they're in a tale of fiction. The closes to this is the protagonist making remarks or commentating as if they're a host only because they're living from their perspective a fictional story that they enjoyed, so they assumed there's an audience watching despite not confirming the existence of one, think of kumo from "I'm a spider, so what?" in this regard

Ultimate Skills?
This won't be relevant for awhile but I want have Ultimate skills and possibly sub-skill refencing or using names from other anime or pop culture media like Ultimate Skill Iroh: Lord of Tea(only an example of what I mean, not a planned Ultimate skill). I doing this to add on how Fuze used Ultimate skills to refence Lovecraft, t so I want to do that too with other popculture medias

Naming?
With our protagonist basically being the sibling of rimuru in this story, they will be naming some of the canon characters and will likely give different names from canon, I might add a non chapter section that shows a list of characters with altered names to remind readers who's who as I know it will cause some confusion, hopefully post-publishing edits are avaliable here

Questions by the End?
I don't know all confirmed info about tensura so I might ask about info by the end of the chapter for details that I'm not sure of, I want to avoid getting the story to not make sense within the establish rules of tensura or contradict what does happen in canon so I'd appreciate it if for anyone to help me out in that regard.

Who is the Protagonist?
This isn't a readerXstory I just haven't thought of a name for the protagonist hence why I'm referring to them as the protagonist. The protagonist is a tensura fan that had reincarnated in tensura and as the third person to hold the Tempest family name they were overjoyed of course that they are now set on their favorite isekai. But as someone who is too scared to ride a Rollercoaster suddenly fighting against monster 20 times their size in cave made them have second thoughts even with the help of their new found family. I wish to have their character alter and change over time but I say for now think of them as the kobeni or zenitsu of the series, having skills to combat their opponents but are absolutely horrified and paranoid to go out of their way to fight. Character element that I want to remain on throughout the sagas is that the protagonist is not only the little sibling to rimuru and veldora but also a constant little sibling figure to other character since they resemble a a child and has the immaturity to back it up. And as little sibling will be, the protagonist acts like a chaotic gremlin towards others they're close to, although only when they're not fearing for their life

That's all I could think of right now if I do have the option to go back and edit text, I'll add in other details that I forgot. Apologies if this was a bit much, I just wanted a way to let readers know what to expect when going into this fanfic, it's gonna be a bit before I make chapter 1. Hope you'll look forward to when that comes out as I'm already tired from writing this preparation chapter.
