Rimuru Pov
Today... might possibly the worst day of my life. The horror started the moment I stepped out of Ingraccia where I was approached by an otherworlder who happened to be a student of shizue's, Hinata Sakaguchi.
Rimuru: uh, hello there? the name's Rimuru Tempest, who might you be?
Hinata:... the name's Hinata Sakaguchi. I wouldn't say it would be a pleasure to make your acquaintance, especially since your time will soon come to a close, monster
Rimuru: W-what!? I'm not a monster, I'm clearly human
Hinata: Don't bother trying to deceive me, I've gotten intel about who you are leader of monsters, and exactly what you did to shizue, especially since you dare wear her mask
Rimuru: (intel? did someone sold me out?)
Hinata: As it stands, your city stands in the way of the Holy Church. But I'm personally taking on this matter. Once I'm done with you, that twin of yours will soon meet the same fate along with rest of your wicked nation of monsters. You'll both pay for your sin of wearing her skin
Rimuru: Wait, hold on! it's not at all what you think it is!
Hinata: I see no need to listen to the lies of a monster
What followed was an intense battle between us with the odds heavily against since Hinata only needed to get 7 strikes on me to finish the job and it didn't help that her swordsmanship was not only superior but fast. Seeing how my chances of victory were slim to none, I focused on a way to escape. I resorted to hiding a body double mid fight and having gluttony's ego fight her in my place. It ended with the ego getting disintegrated by Hinata, I still kept hidden till I was sure she was longer around. Once I set myself to use transportation magic back to Tempest, I was notified by Great Sage about something worrying
Great Sage:[Notice: Transportation circle in Tempest is not available to use]
Rimuru:(What!? Why!?)
Great Sage:[Unable to Answer]
Rimuru:(Now what!?)
Great Sage:[Answer: Use the transportation circle within Veldora's cave]
With no other options left, I transported right outside of tempest in Veldora's cave where I met up with Dovakin, Vesta, and Leonardo. Turns out a barrier was surround the city and nobody was able to get in or out. I was fortunately able to forcibly bypass it with my aura, not before making a thread of communication between me and Leonardo. I rushed straight into town, most of the streets were empty with it being noticable that destruction had occurred here. I eventually made it to town hall where I met up with the dwarves and Rigurd who seemed like he was trying to desperately trying to hide something. Before I could pry him of the details of what happened, an explosion was heard from a nearby alley
We rushed near the commotion to find a group of kijins and high orcs with Benjamin facing off against Grucias
Grucias: I-I won't... stop protecting-
Benjamin: you need to learn to stay out my way
Rimuru: stop Benjamin!
Benjamin: I'LL BURN YOU TOO IF YOU ALSO GET-
Napoleon: HALT! you dare speak to Rimuru-Sama like that!
Benjamin: Ah! m-my apologies Rimuru-Sama
Napoleon: you've returned
Rimuru:what happened?
Napoleon: this barrier appeared suddenly, it effects seems to limit our strength
