You've been a fan of Jay for years, and you're aware of your own limitations as a fan. You acknowledge that there are times when you've become a delulu to the point where you were imagining yourself as one of his future girls, even though you know it's like a punch to the moon if it happens.
But now...
Why does it appear that you didn't strike the moon while in reality you hit a bullseye?
You are in your room, biting your nails out of anxiousness, while you monitor the current news on the internet.
Until now, you had no idea how you would go home safely when a disaster happened, as you and Jay were swarmed by those paparazzi.
"Ms, you didn't tell me that you and Mr. Park had a thing...," Jen said with a small grin, making you shake your head because she started to misunderstood everything.
"No, we didn't have a thing Jen, it was all a mistake, what the press claimed wasn't true."
"Then how did you and Mr Park end up in the same place Ms and with that position?" Jen smile.
Your cheeks began to heat up as you recalled those flashbacks.
You are directly dazzled by the lights from the cameras that never stop recording you two as you lay on top of Jay.
"I'm sorry," you say to Jay.
"Just get up, your heavy" he replied.
Your expression widened as you realized how strange the situation was, prompting you to immediately get up.
"Is she the reason why your wedding cancelled?"
"Do you date her?"
"If it is, how long have you been dating?"
"Why do you hide your girlfriend, Mr. Park?"
The constant questioning from the media made you uncomfortable, while fear engraved your body. "𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝒅𝒊𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒆𝒏? 𝑰 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒎𝒆𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒉𝒊𝒎 𝒂 𝒄𝒂𝒌𝒆, 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒊𝒕 𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒘𝒂𝒚." you say to yourself.
You hide your face with your hair due to the constant flashing of cameras, which Jay sees and covers the view, hiding you behind his back.
"Mr. Park, what will you say about the questions? Are they true?"
"Is she the reason for your wedding cancellation?"
"She appears a year younger than you, how old is she?"
You clutch his shirt, unsure how to leave the situation as you feel his arms envelop you from behind before he responds.
"Me and my girlfriend are on vacation right now to celebrate my birthday." Jay said which made you stunned in schocked.
"If you respect us, further queries will be answered when I return to Manila, for the time being, please excuse us. we have a lot of things to do."
When you remember that time, you can't help but harm yourself in frustration while giving Jen an uncomfortable look.
"Promise Jen, nothing is real about that. It was just a mistake. I don't know why Jay told that, but to be honest, I was just his fan, and I'm not his girlfriend."
Until now, you have no idea why he said that, or maybe he was just trying to avoid the media, but it ruins everything for you.
It's especially strange that he casually announced you as his girlfriend despite the fact that your father was the reason his marriage was called off since his fiance was your father's affair. You instantly pondered what Jay reaction would be once he found out.
Jen claps her hand in enjoyment before approaching you.
"But, Ms., aren't you happy that it feels like a dream? You say Mr. Park was your idol, and the fact that he announced you as his girlfriend is something you should be proud of."
Jen grabs your pillow, embraces it, and smiles crazily. "If that happens to me, I believe I will be the happiest girl on planet."
It will be tough for you to focus in the coming days, especially when you receive a call from your mom. You haven't answered yet, but you already know why she called.
That is why you close your eyes when you hear your mother's voice because you believe your eardrums will explode as a result of her angry tone.
"What the heck is that? Do you want to be a mistress? My god! I sent you to your grandmother for a vacation not to cause a major issue."
Despite the fact that you wanted to tell your mother that what she saw on the television was not true, you couldn't tell.
"How do you think Mr. Park fiancée would react? I know she was already aware of the growing news about you and Mr. Park."
Your forehead wrinkled.
In your mind, you're upset because your mother protected Jay's ex-fiance despite the fact that she had no knowledge that Jay ex-fiance was a literal snake.
"Mom, she's not Jay's fiance anymore-" you attempted to add, but your mother stopped you short.
"I don't care if she is or not, what I'm concerned about is our family's reputation. What do you think will happen now? We all know that your dad is Mr. Park's architect in his supposedly
family home, do you think it won't tarnish his name if they discover that his architect's daughter is having an affair with his client?""Mom! I'm not having an affair," you respond irritably, because you can't count how many times she has said that.
"Don't raise your voice at me, did you forget I'm your mother?"
Your mother spoke to you in the same tone, which caused you to stop because you know that when she is angry, whether she is right or wrong, the outcome is the same. So you keep silent.
"My brain will explode because of this, my goodness! I can't talk to you in this situation, just book a trip back to Manila, and inform your grandma."
"Mom!" you protest because you don't want to get back yet, but you know that if your mom says anything, you should follow through.
You just sit on your bed, which is merely irritating when someone knocks on your door.
"Come in," you say.
It was Jen.
"Ms., someone is waiting for you downstairs, he's talking with your grandma right now."
Your forehead furrowed since you didn't anticipate anyone to pay you a visit, especially because you didn't know many people in Ilocos other from Jen and it's also impossible that it's one of your friends because they're now in Manila.
"Who is it?" you said, but Jen offered you a mischievous look.
"It's your boy, Ms."
"Huh?" you said, confused.
"Mr. Jay Park."
