He sat on the swings alone in the park, swinging his bruised legs as he lightly moved back and forth on the swing. It has been a month since he was diagnosed quirkless, a month since his life ended.

Izuku would never forget that day. That disgusting white hospital room, the smell of anti biotics and medicines, the little posters that littered the room trying to lighten the mood for any kid who came. The very room heroes where born. But for him, that was where he died.

He remembers how he sat on the chair all excited after following every instruction the doctor gave obediently. He remember how his mother smiled at him all softly telling him that for sure, he would get a powerful quirk the most powerful quirk.

"Like kachhan?" he said with adoring eyes.
"Of course, and you will be the best hero!" his mom punched the air lightly pretending to be all might.

Their soft chuckles where cut of as the doctor walked in, closing the door behind him he sat on his wheeling chair and faced the two excited visitors.

"Im sorry to say this Ms midoriya, but your son he's "

"quirkless."

He couldn't hear anything after that, he assumed the doctor uselessly went on a rant about why-what things may have caused him to be like that. It didn't matter. Why say what's obvious? Izuku was born to be usless.

Izuku Midoriya was one with no reason.

After that the walk home was long and tiring. The mood he had when he first went through those same streets where turned over. He kept his head hung low trying to suppress the tears building up.

his mom tried to talk to him but nothing was getting through, so she decided holding his hand reassuringly and letting him think for himself was the right option.

why was the world like this? At such a young age was it really necessary for a child to feel this much despair, in what crazy world do you leave a child to 'take it all in'? Why was such a kind and grateful kid like izuku born into such a cruel world?

Once he reached home he immediately went to his room, thinking that maybe some sleep would keep him from thinking about such things. He was wrong, because the moment he stepped foot in to his room, he was met with the plastered photos of All might, present mic, hawks and everyone else he looked up to. The thousands of books and figures that sat on the furniture painted in All might colour code.

Those very posters that he would wake up to everyday motivating him to try his best or well at least buy more merch, all of the sudden suffocated him, he felt everything closing in to him. Was his room always this small? Those colourful pictures and furniture burned his eyes

The bright yellow, red and blue where to vibrant, he could feel all the pressure flowing into the front of his brain than all around, His head felt heavy and his eyes felt like there where going to pop. He fell to his knees groaning. It was too much everything was too much. He closed his eyes wishing everything would go away, but the disgusting reminder of him being completely useless kept on replaying.

The doctors short and heartless sentence burned his head. Every time it repeated louder and louder.

"quirkless, quirkless, quirkless" It screamed.

-"baby, are you okay?" his mom said gently as she peeked into his dark room.

"IZUKU!?" her heart ached, she felt like throwing up. She wanted to burn everyone down, and fight for the justice of her son, she wanted to tell izuku it was okay. There was always a solution. Yet she felt herself break knowing that she was completely helpless, she was a pathetic mom. Why couldn't she just give him a quirk? Why did her baby look so broken at such a young age. Inko cried as she thought about how her child was supposed to be out and playing, dreaming without a care in the world, obsessing over one thing and than getting over it. Izuku was supposed to cry for dumb funny reasons, So why? just why? was her son lying on the floor, his fingers digging into his scalp, blood running down as he banged his head on the floor.

He didnt make a sound. Not a single sound was emitted from his mouth, it was pain watching as izuku was so desperate for help, yet couldn't make a single sound. He was overwhelmed, going through an extreme panic attack. His body with no other way out chose destruction.

Inko immediately tore his hands away from his head. Tears streamed down her face as she held her struggling son down. Only then did he break, he was wailing, screaming and sobbing.

After he gave up on struggling he immediately clutched on to his mother, as if asking why he was even there in the first place.

The midoriya family was one without reason.
