Akashi looked down at his phone. She hadn't messaged him yesterday. For some reason he kind of felt like he was waiting for her message. Saying hi or greeting him for the morning or even asking him how basketball was.

He laid on the bed, it was the second day and whenever he would hear the familiar ding he would perk up and reach for his phone expecting her name to appear.

But it didn't.

When had he gotten so accustomed to hearing the ding and seeing her name pop up. It was as if he was a lab rat in some sick twisted experiment.

Why was he still, even now, waiting for her message to appear?

He didn't want to see it, he even told her numerous times to tell her to stop messaging him. That was all he ever sent to her.

Yet, he still waited. Like a patient well trained dog.

"This is ridiculous." He muttered angrily, throwing his phone on the other side of his bed. "I finally get her to stop texting me and here I am waiting for another one." He groaned.

And there it was. It was like heaven to his ears for a split second he felt happy, his heart jumped out of his chest and he sat up quickly and reached for his phone.

Without thinking he looked at the screen and smiled to see her name there. He wiped the smile off his face and frowned.

she had toyed with his mind! Was this her plan the whole time? Well she wasn't winning in this game.

He was going to win.

He always won.

He was absolute after all.
